remote locking car keys?

went to my local peugeot dealer for a new remote locking car ket and was quoted £160 + vat for new one there has to be a cheaper way ????? help

yeah its a bloody con m8 , i think if you browse online you might find somebody 2 do it cheaper than that, but that sounds really dear but it always is when you go 2 the dealer instead of having a look around first..

In most cars thats about the going rate because to grt a new remote, the new circuit must be programed. the other functioning set must be discrde or its circuitry be cahnged to be compatible to the new one, These new electronic chips are new, The dealer may need to reprogram the receiver or the senor to the locks. But in my opinion, it is another way to increase their revenues.
