Religious people like to talk about Peace, Love and Tolerance so why is their

In all fairness, I'd have to disagree with you. Perhaps people flew the banners of religion as justification, but this does not reflect the views of most religious people. This is the same as saying this:

The Nazis were all German,
therefore, all Germans are Nazis.

which just doesn't fly.

Would you call a good kid a killer if his grandfather was a killer?
Would you hate a thief if he's been reformed?
People change. Times change.
Everyone learns from their mistakes.

Not all religious people now lived back then ....and people don't understand that God allows for wars and not all wars are fought or have been fought for religious purposes --

Blessings

Peace, Love and Toleranec as long as your beliefs fall in line with their beliefs!

If you don't believe like me.... YOUR GOING TO HELL!

right...ahahaha

People who talk will not follow the same.

Also though they are religious, they do not know the religion correctly or misunderstood the things and lead all others in the wrong, this is where things go worst.

powers in CHARGE of religion promote the hate, not the religions themselves. it's the misinterpretation by the "leaders" (usually self appointed) that rally the war cry.

also, PEOPLE have been at war. not just religions. they just organized the people to save them from oblivion and anarchy. few rules for the people and BAM! you got some organization and power to defend your castles/lands.

im sure all sides TRY but it's tough to keep peace when yer enemies want you in pieces.

i don't feel any one religion has a right over another. if 2 go to war i believe the stronger one DESERVES to live and the other die. everyone has the same right to life. (but i'd even go further to say ALL life has a place, not just arrogantly thinking people over plants and animals, all life is sacred and not to be wasted or killed w/o regard).

religion was merely the excuse. war, hate, and intolerance are human pastimes we refuse to give up. If it hadn't been religion it would have been racism or imperialism, or a preemptive war against the barbarians (thank you roman empire for that idea). Keep in mind also that any religion becomes an institution and institutions gather power and since power tends to corrupt and corrupt individuals tend to be drawn to power.... good men end up falling and bad men rising and the end result is what it has always been.

"Religion throughout most of history always lead to War, Hate and Intolerance."

That is a faulty statement. Religion does nothing. Religion is an organized system of beliefs about God. That would be like saying, "Biology leads to people having sex and giving birth to babies." Religion and biology do nothing on their own.

People, on the other hand, do cause violence, hate, etc. They sometime use religion as their bully pulpit. Sad, but true. This does not mean all religion is wrong, however. Just because people abuse something doesn't mean it is wrong.

We need to have millions of people meditating with the Sacred Fires of Realization

It takes extreme discipline, not being taught in the current world forum....

Christians covered it up with the "Holy Spirit" and Jesus 'died for your sins'
