I've only been in a hummer in the army. and never received a hummer because I am a female *coy smile
Have seen them up close and personal and have ridden in one. Not impressed.
The Hummers can be outsourced to China, because GM saves money on labor and governmental regulations. It's cheaper to pay for transportation and customs than to manufacture in the U.S.
Evidently, GM feels that the famous line that Henry Ford said is irrelevant: If we pay workers enough money, they may actually have enough to buy a vehicle. I wonder when the execs at GM will realize that if workers are out of jobs, no one will buy their products.
