Can anyone help me to create an approximate time line of the evolution of religions and te cultures that created them? I am basically looking for the predominate god(s) or the names of those religions with the cultures that they appeared in. If possible, I would like to know their contemporaries as well (e.g. Canaan- Baal / Babylon- Dragon Goddess). I only need the early religions and cultures up to the 1 millenium B.C. Thanks!
Ummmm....first response, thanks for the advice, but this is part of my homework. I want opinions and different views on the subject, so if you don't have one, I guess there's nothing to talk about. Anyway, I know that many people have different views of how religion evolved; therefore, I am desirous to hear those for a project that I am working on. Any help would be appreciated while I am doing my own research here. Thanks for any tips, pointers or any websites that may be useful!
