I want to buy a car mainly for weekly groceries and for weekend hiking and camping trips. I've always loved the small cars like Yaris and Fit, but I don't think they do so well on the backcountry logging roads, and I think if I put a couple kayaks on one of them it would fly away. Is there some car that you could recommend that is durable, small and economical, but can also handle the outdoors?
