All cars can be reliable, and unreliable.

You're gonna have to look on Auto Trader or something to find some cars that she likes, then ask the seller if it is reliable, and take it for a test drive yourself.

Personally, I would go with something small, such at a Citroen Saxo, Peugeot 106, 306, Ford Fiesta, Fiat Punto, Vauxhall Corsa - as all these will have smaller engine sizes (under 1.4) so it will be cheaper car insurance.

Good luck!

Hi

I would suggest Nissan micra

Super reliable
easy to keep
cheap to repair
low insurance
good resale value .
economical.

Need i say more !

Ford Fiestas - good, reliable, cheap parts.
Nissan Micra - as above.
Hondas.

I personally wouldn't go near Vauxhauls, Peugeots, Renaults or Fiats but that's just me.
