Release of 09' 848's

Anyone have a general idea on the when the 09' 848 model will be released in the US?

As soon as they do I'm getting one and want to stay one step ahead.

Dealers here in Ohio just had their regional meeting to talk inventory for 2009, so I don't think we have any out yet. Was told this by a dealer who I've worked with closely.

I'm picking up my MY09 tomorrow. My dealer also just got back from a regional dealer meeting ; I haven't talked to him yet, but before he left he mentioned that he expected to get clearance to start selling MY09's regularly after the meeting. I got lucky and was able to buy a 2009 model that was supposed to be used as a demonstrator.

The best way to be one step ahead is to go to the dealer and put a deposit down.

Thanks for the feedback. What if any changes to the 09's versus the 08's?

I'll call the dealer again next week and see what they have to say.

I may try a dealer on the west coast and see about shipping the bike over. Any recommendation on a dealer?
