Basically my gf recently revealed to me that she had slept with someone else previously. And when she was recollecting her break-up / time with him she started crying and she looked proper sad. She tells me she was only crying because she's ashamed of her past though. The problem is she is really good friends with that same guy now. I asked her to choose between me and him. She said yes, then a day later changed her mind, and said 'no' on principle. She said the he wouldnt have made her choose, and that i must'nt love her if i would make her choose. So basically she chose him. I have asked alot of people on their advice about this, and they 90% agree with me even my gf's own friends! that in true love nothing else should matter, and that she should have chose me. Also i proposed to her and she said 'no'. How should i take that? To be fair it was a really really shitty proposal but still i told her that what should matter is the fact that i proposed, not how i proposed. Someone else when she was really young asked her to marry him and she said 'yes'. She tells me she only said yes because it was puppy love, but tbh i dont know what to think.
