I would like to know that as per the marriage under this act, the 3 witnesses can be any or specifically a particular number from the boy and girls side. I am a parsi girl marrying a muslim boy so we have decided on my mum and 1 of my sister being a witness and his dad.Is that ok??? Coz someone told us that it should be 1 witness from girls side, 1 witness from boys side and 1 common friend as a witness...is that true???
