...side of lying? doesn't it make sense to investigate and think clearly and rationally about what is to be gained by the lies. With that being said, the far right are saying that the healthcare bill is going to kill old people, bankrupt America, gov't bureaucracies is going to deny coverage, people with existing healthcare will lose their existing coverage, etc. Now IF this was true, what and how would the Democrats and Obama benefit from such a scenario? What is their motive? Think about it - do you really think that they are just out to ruin America and kill old people, just for kicks!
On the other hand, the left is accusing lobbyist - (paid for by insurance companies), of blatantly distorting facts and organizing angry mobs to disrupting town hall meetings. Now, IF this was true, who stands to gain from this? Proponents of keeping the status quo - the Insurance companies! Why?- money of course! The bottom line - it's always about the money!

C'mon people do you really think that health care reform is about the gov't wanting more power! Are you implying that politicians (who have term limits) will sacrifice future votes for the sake of the gov't gaining more power and then they get voted out of office, how does more gov't power beenfit them at that point?
