...cooked, without 1st grinding them up? From what I've seen, they do not digest pieces of eggshell, and the edges seem pretty sharp to me. I have an extra dozen of eggs which I would like to use as treats for my dogs, and would love to be able to avoid peeling the shells off! But, I know that cooked bones of ALL sizes are brittle & have sharp edges where they break, so I am wondering whether eggshells --either raw OR cooked-- might pose some harm, also.
(My dogs are 48 & 58 lbs respectively, if that helps any.)
Names of online information which discusses this matter would certainly be welcome!
Thank You.
I will not be feeding them raw egg whites, as that can cause skin problems, and they've already had problems with their skin. I would just like to know about the safety of feeding both raw & cooked eggs along with shells, because I am a 'curious sort'. (;
