Reg. characters on shows, that never interacted with each other

Can anyone list certain characters in a cartoon series who never interacted with each other, or even appeared on-camera with the other?

An example would be Heathcliff and Riff Raff from "Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats". Excluding the bit in the end credits (as well as the original commercial bumpers and promos where Heathcliff and Riff Raff actually acknowledge each other), these two characters never appeared in an episode together, despite both segments taking place in the same city of Westfinster.

Can anyone come up with any more examples?
 
Thing about that is: originally Riff Raff was planned to be a rival for Heathcliff on the DiC show, but the MacNaught Corporation, who owned the rights to Heathcliff, was dead set against the idea.



Well, offhand I can't recall Aang ever exchanging words with Ty Lee or Mai on Avatar, but I could be wrong about that.
 
Invader ZIM: Don't recall The Allmighty Tallest ever interacting with any of the human characters. The hologram sequence in "Dib's Wonderful Life of Doom" doesn't count.
 
"Frycook From Beyond the Stars" (is that the correct title?) had Dib making contact with the tallest, courtesty of GIR, after Zim had been kidnapped.
 
Well kind of. In "Return To Omashu" when Mai was in charge of the prision exchange she did tell Aang (until Azula's suggestion) the deal was cancelled. And she did attack him earlier in the episode (as did Ty Lee in "The Drill") which technically counts.




The actual title is "The Frycook What Came from All That Space" but yeah that's correct that they interacted there.

In Phinneas and Ferb besides Perry the Platpus no else interacts with Dr. Doofemshurtz due to the whole secret agent thing. I think that's one of the basic laws of the show that no main character from Perry's family interacts with him besides Perry in some form or another.
 
I am sure there a many war themed shows, in which there are characters from both sides that never meet.

This a spoiler for the Code Geass dub watchers but:

Everyone from Code Geass meet each other when Lelouch imprissioned everyone in the last episode. So that counts?

In American Dragon: Jake Long, Rose and Jake's immediate family never really interacted. Except for "Switcheroo" when Haley spoted Rose from a distanted, and I guess they all were together in the final battle against the Dark Dragon. But they never talked or acknowledged each other.

Another similar example, in Digimon Savers, Touma's family never interacted with the other main characters. They were all together after the defeat of Yggdrasil, but they never interacted.

Two characters that never interacted that I was very disappointed and really wanted to see, Shego and Bonnie Rockwiller from Kim Possible. That would have cool to see Kim's two main female enemies in life both professional and personally interact. Maybe off screen in "Ron Millionaire", before Drakken fired Bonnie from the potsie he took from Ron.
 
On Pok?mon, Shigeru and Satoshi's mom never really interacted with the other even though they have been featured together in episodes but not communicating with the other.

I can't think of anything else at the moment nor am I entirely sure about the example above but I'll come back if I remember one for sure.
 
In the original episodes of The Jetsons, Rosey and Astro never appeared together. But thanks to the revival in the 80s, they finally did.
 
The Buddy Bears appeared in one of the U.S. Acres (aka Orson's Farm) shorts (can't recall the title at the moment) in which the whole story was built around breaking the 4th wall. Roy the rooster quits the show and goes to work on the Buddy Bears' TV show. Roy's plans for stardom backfire when the Buddy Bears use him as the perpetual target for their "lessons".
 
Kinda weird that Rose and Jake's family never touched bases, except for Lao shi and Rose of course. That's where it got interesting.
 
Did Inspector Gadget ever peronsaly talked to Dr. Claw? I know they never met face to face, but did they ever talked via some, i dunno, radio-thingy or something? Or for that matter, did any of the good guys talked to Claw?
 
Given its large cast, I'm sure there quite a few characters in The Simpsons who've never met. For example, I dont think Reverend Lovejoy has ever met Disco Stu.
 
i've only started watching the smurfs again from my ondemand eps. it's been too long for me to remember. from what i recall though johan and peewit didn't ever interact with gargamel right? i'm pretty sure the adventures with them always stayed in they're own enviroment with characters in they kingdom.
