Reflection of light - how it moves - is this right?

reflection of light doesn't just happen on flat surfaces? Reflection of light occurs everywhere and anywhere. Light is like particles in matter? Light is moving constantly at a constant speed only changing direction when it hits a boundary e.g a surface or another light particle.. wave? Does light ever hit each other?

So light occurs everywhere, and we can control it with convex, concave, plane mirrors and such?
