red streak up my arm

Have you been bitten by something or have a sore or injury? I can't diagnose it but it sounds like you have blood poisoning. The poison runs up the vein, you might find you have a swollen gland somewhere, maybe your armpit. If that's what it is you need to see a doctor sooner rather than later. Antibiotics usually take care of it. Goodluck.
 
i was going to tell you exactly what the above poster did,possible blood poisoning. did you happen to recently have any type of a needle stick there where this starts? like a blood draw or an IV started? this is how my blood poisoning occured when i was like ten years old? wayyy long time ago. i had been in the hospital about a week before this occured and one day i had this solid red streak going up my arm. i just remeber my dad taking me back to that hosp ER and they gave me meds. but there was a very definite red streak going up my arm. this needs to be looked at and evaluated very soon. good luck and please keep us posted.
