Red Light yet no Flash?

I got Flashed once and no ticket, I asked about and mates said they sometimes run out of film or not working they brake down like most things, but saying that i bet the newer ones don't take film. but good luck
 
Tonight I ran a red light because I was looking for an address. It was completely red yet I did not see a flash at all. Has anyone did this? and if so did you still receive a ticket?
 
If you can't see a big red traffic light in front of you how are you going to see a flash behind you, or anything else come to that.

On the balance of probabilities you won't get a fine..
 
not every intersection has a camera, so if there was no flash, it's safe to say you probably did not get a ticket, however there is always the chance that you blinked, or that you missed the flash the same way you missed the red light. in any case, unless that intersection is known to have a camera, you're probably fine
