I think Stadium Arcadium is a great album too. Yes it's not as rough around the edges, and it's more polished, but they are getting on now. they are not going to making punk funk blasts like they were 20 years ago.
 
Interesting lil group (83/87) to great funk rock band (89/91) with one of the best albums of the 90s to good alternative metal band (95) to great pop band (99) to greater pop band (02) to dried up pop band (06-present).
 
Check out "fight like a brave." But really, the band then is not the band now. RHCP should go in JH's "catharsis" thread. Didn't they have George Clinton on the reigns then?

Yeah, gotta go with the previous post... their later stuff just seems so much weaker than their later material... Everything they did up to and including Californication was awesome... but since then.... mmmm, kinda patchy...
 
Yeah those two are definitely the duffers of the album.

That being said, the original Robert Johnson version of They're Rod Hot is awesome.
