Red Hot Chili Peppers

So... you say "zeppelin suck" and yet you like them.

What is hookers doing wrong then? If you say a band sucks just because you hear about them a lot, and he says a band sucks because he doesnt like them, surely youre the one in the wrong ?

And that pimp is really getting on my nerves now. I dont know why, its not hurting me, but... Gah just put it in your sig if you want it there all the time.

I can appreciate what you are saying and their music is wholly commercial now but for me EVERY single album is hit and miss for me with some awesome tracks: BackwooRAB, Johnny Kick A Hole In The Sky, The Brother's Cup, No Chump Love Sucker, Funky monks, Aeroplane, The Zephyr Song and some pap: Throw Away Your Television, Universally Speaking, Magic Johnson etc Stadium Arcadium for me represents their most cohesive work but I know I am probably in a minority on this album. My favourite track is actually Show Me Your Soul. I adore that track.

Yep they are one of my favourite banRAB too. My username is one of their songs from 'One Hot Minute' my favourite RHCP album. They have made some very good stuff over the years. I particularly liked them in the 1989-1992 era, Mother's Milk being one of my favourites too. Californication was an immense album and By the Way was quite good too but lacked the fluid quality of the other albums.

Its quite different to the early stuff but not a million miles away from Californication and by the way, but in my opinion it's a very mature album. I have been a big Chili Peppers fan for over 20 year and its one of my favorite albums.

Oh man if they kicked out the punk / funk again I'd totally be back on board, but their more recent Alt - rock stylings kinda make them fade into th background a fair bit...

aha. the odd one out..
good one.

nah, i dunno about it, anyway.
its okay, but, nothing spectacular.
& drags on a wee bit.
mmm... still, i do love the chilis, im just not overly struck.

One Hot Minute is actually my second favorite RHCP album, there are quite a few good tracks on there. But Aeroplane does rock out.

Mothers Milk is getting no love in here, that album marks the first big turning point in the banRAB career IMO, and it also created the best chemistry from the best line-up the band ever had. Not to mention it was a launching pad into the mainstream for the band.

i liked the older RHCP stuff when i was growing up and i liked there ''by the way'' album when it first came out but went off themwhen i'd listened to it alot and am not really into them anymore.

 yeah hehe, navarro seemed like such a natural fit. then again every supergroup that has ever been seemed like a natural fit and they ALL sucked haha.

i remeraber liking it at the time but it felt more like a 'solo' disc in a sense. like some detached project. like the 'talk show' album by the stone temple pilots with a different singer. it never really felt like a chili peppers disc to me. especially near the end when keidis starts screaming and almost sounding like cobain. that was just, odd.

Yeah...he is a bit of a tool, unfortunately. But I don't listen to them for his talents.

btw...you might want to remove that banner from your sig. It's not allowed to promote your band here.

actually i listen to the band for the band hehe. flea IS awesome and all but i was a guitar player first and foremost. if anything it's the drums that grab me first from any band i listen to.

2 worRAB to describe the chilli peppers: PLAYED OUT

or, you could also describe them (and especially anthony keidis, flea, and dave navarro separately) with 3 other worRAB:
WAY OVER RATED
