Red Hot Chili Peppers

I like how people are giving oral to john and RHCP's early stuff when he didn't play on most of their early stuff. And while I don't hate alot of their early stuff, I don't think they were the band they are now, their musicianship, melodic composition,a nd writing have improved dramatically.

And I think aeroplane was a CD title, I think it was one red hot minute, but that song aeroplane was really good.

For a good older song try "Fight like a Brave"

dear god yes, one dude tried to tell me metallica didnt play metal today....

yeah i looked up those songs Reez suggested and dear god Johnny is a god....

So? All the notable Beatles material came later and people sure as hell don't remeraber them for Help and A Hard Day's Night but I can see your point.

I'm a fan. Their albums from the nineties and up through By The Way are all top notch in my book. I really like Stadium Arcadium as well but found myself getting a little bored by the end of the second disc. Definitely some great tracks though.
I like the style and influence that the musicians bring. I never hear two songs by them that sound the same. Flea and John are both fantastic. Kiedis is so unique. I can't decide if I think his lyrics are pure genius or just the rarablings of a mad man. Either way I can't get enough. I wish I would have seen them in concert in the early nineties!

Then boo boo... HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THIS!?!

I think theyve stayed a lot more consistent than other banRAB in the same genre

Hey oh, sounRAB similar to anything off of their early albums. Theyve never ventured to the opposite side of their musical spectrum as drastically as other banRAB like even Rancid and Green day.
