Red Hot Chili Peppers

I thought Stadium Arcadium was better than By The Way as an overall album, in some ways. By The Way had some good songs on it, but the new one has some pretty catchy ones. Snow is relaxxxing.

i think their albums are progessively better. if you listen to flea talk on their DVD, Funky Monks, he talks about the way they grow as muscians and incorporate their old style with new things they learn. I know everyone has their own opinion but i think their albums have gotten cleaner and crisper sound over the years....ESPECIALLY WITH JOHN ANTHONY MUTHA ****ING FRUSICANTE. he is an amazing musician and has an amazing story behind him....just as the merabers do. But Frusciante is the man imo.

yeah i usually chuckle every time i hear a new chili peppers song... theyre not incredibly great but theres always some perverted/druggy meaning behind everything

I guess because some would consider it a pretty sappy, corny attempt at a Beatles style ballad... Not that i agree with that notion, but i think it's understandable if people don't like RHCP, i love that song myself, though i prefer the more funky side of RHCP.

Can't say I much care for them anymore. They don't seem to have the replay value they used to.

I actually feel sick when I try and listen to By The Way anymore.

I may have a problem.

RHCP are ok. They really know how to mess up their own songs though. By The Way is the best example because it starts out nice and calm then turns into this heavy bass out of no where that I thought didn't go too well with the start or the song at all. They have a few other songs that are pretty good. But I would never buy an album of theirs.

You could have just used 2 worRAB to describe it all,as overrated is one word.

I dig the peps, they are like the Foo Fighters to me, in the sense that alot of people dig their tunes, its easy listening, and fun to sing along with. I dont really see how people can dislike them, other than the elitists who dont dig their popularity?

Well I guess it depenRAB on where you started. Of course it was the first RHCP album I've heard which I guess makes it the sentimental favorite.

I still don't know how any RHCP fan could think it is bad. I hate that whenever a band is finally able to get good production for their recorRAB, purists freak out.
