Red Hot Chili Peppers

The worst of all posters is the ninja.

You know what those are.

You make a long, well written post arguing a certain point. And then out of goddamn nowhere comes some guy you have never seen before. Usually whatever he says is some unprovoked insult in 10 worRAB or less.

"You're an idiot"

And then he's GONE, never to be seen until his next attack, as he will sabotage you time and time again, but as he disappears in a flash, it leaves you defenseless.

I f*cking hate forum ninjas.

IN MY OPINION they are sell outs. Before everyone starts having a go at me let me expain why!! If you listen to their older stuff, it was different it was jazzy and funky, and true they were popular. But now if you look at the recenet songs (especially Universially Speaking and other crap on the By The Way album) they have watered down their songs, and have become pop, and people love them for it. If they had kept their funky edge, but theve lost it, and its a shame that happened, coz they used to be good back in the early nineties...so yea know im gona get slated, but thats my opinion so yea...

I have to disagree with you what is so great the chili peppers it that each album has a different style and feel to it. Also Anthony Kiedis lyrics and style of singing has changed a great deal from album to album

"The daughter of a Southern cop

Well I don't know about Frusciante being that bad of a songwriter, but in response to the original question, I'd have to say that 'Fortune Faded' is one of their great songs that isn't as widely known.

What does everyone think of the new chili's single, Dani California? I am a big Chili peppers fan and I think it is some of thier best material to date. The video is wicked too. Looking forward to the new album!! From what I've heard it could be their best yet!

I downloaded my copy of Dani yesterday when it was released from tunetribe.com. Anyone who hasn't checked that site out yet really should do- its an alternative to itunes and napster but I personally prefer it. The sound quality of the mp3's are perfect, the site is easy to use and good value for money too. Theres also recommendations and interviews with top artists. If you download music its worth a visit.

I can only fully stand Mother's Milk as the band sound like they're having fun and are doing what they want to do, their last few albums are just trying to please as many of the fans they gained with 'Under The Bridge' as they can. Theres definitely not as much soul in their new songs.

I just watched an interview with Chickenfoot, thought of getting them some songs ...
so i shouldn't bother ? cz i hate being disappointed by some great looking band.
