Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections...What's Going On?

I have now had 3 urinary tract infections in a row. My doctor prescribed Ciprofloxacin to me the first time, and Macrobid the 2nd time. Each time, I have taken all of the medicine, as prescribed. I just went back on Tuesday and found out that the infection is back. All of these infections have occurred in the space of a month-and-a-half. I'm very worried. I drink a lot of water, and I rarely ever have coffee or sodas. The only symptoms I have had are extremely MILD back pain, and having to go to the bathroom every 20-30 minutes. I'm just unsure of what may be causing me to have continuous infections. Before all of this started, I had never had any kind of kidney or UTI infection in my life.
I did get married about 1 year ago, and since then, of course, I have been regularly sexually active with my husband. Now, after the last bout of antibiotics, we started trying to have a baby. My doctor has assured me that penicillin is safe during pregnancy(I don't know if I am pregnant yet, but there is a possibility). I'm worried about that, too. Does anyone know what may be causing these recurrent infections? Is there a possibility at all that my husband might be giving it to me? Please help!! Thanks!
