Recovery from Gallbladder surgery

OMG! Mac and cheese?????????? Please, please, please stay away from greasy foods. Oh my! Hate to think about it! No fat diet for a month! Then slowly introduce fat back into your diet. Boy, you really gave your system a fright!

I had my gallbladder taken out 2 years ago. It was supposed to be a day surgery, but I had to spend the night in the Hospital because I couldn't pee on my own. When I got home, everything I ate went right through me. I felt sick and had diarrhea, I was constantly going to the bathroom. That lasted for a day or 2, then I felt better.

I am sure that the way you are feeling, will go away soon. If it doesn't, then you should call your doctor and let him or her know what's been going on. Also stay from fat foods, will make you feel worse.

Hi. My husband had gallbladder surgery on the 20th and I would like to know if it is normal that he has been getting full fast. Sometimes he has only had 3 spoons let say and he is full already. Is this normal? If so, how long will it be like this? Thank you.
