I do some basic recording for some of my friends bands and am trying to get the quality of the sound better. What I normally do is go from the RCA out on the board and plug it into my computer at the 1/8th microphone jack. With doing that I usually get some static and the quality isn't that great.
My thoughts to fix this is to go out either from the RCA or a quarter inch output on the sound board and plug it into the Lexicon interface so that I can record via the USB and get a higher quality sound.
