How does climate change theories explain this super cool winter around the world?

Hey, if Global Warming is not real, then why is it so damn hot in South America, the African Continent, and Australia?
Because it's summer there.

And when it's summer there it's winter on the northern hemisphere

WINTER GETS COOOOOOOOOLLLLD :D

Stop with your "Uuuuugh Itz so cooold in north americaaa, global warmin iz not reeeeel..."

You sound like a whining baby!!

Cleanse!

Actually, for the whole globe we are having record WARM temperatures. It is only because more populated areas are getting cold air this week that you get the impression that the earth has cooled.

You can check it here:
http://discover.itsc.uah.edu/amsutemps/

The average temperature on 1/7/10 was 1/3 degree WARMER than 1/7/09, and in fact each day so far this year has been the hottest since UAH started measuring via satellite.

You are getting cold air that was replaced by warmer air someplace else. The total heat in the entire earth system is way up from past years -- and this is happening during a solar minimum.

The cold weather is localised to parts of the mid to upper northern hemisphere – the rest of the world isn’t experiencing these same conditions (as indicated by Dawei’s link). Globally it’s the hottest it’s ever been.

What we’re experiencing is a short term weather event that started on 17th-18th December and will last another 10 to 14 days. It’s caused by an area of high pressure over the Arctic which is feeding cold air into much of the US, parts of Canada, Northern Europe, parts of Russia and parts of China – and nowhere else.

It’s a cyclical event with a periodicity of approx 16 years. If it hadn’t happened this year it would have happened in 1 or 2 years time. It’s next due to occur in 2025 (give or take a year).

In the larger scheme of things you’re looking at 3 weeks out of 150 years, clearly no conclusions can be drawn from such a short timeframe.

We are not cold "all around the world". Some parts of the Northern Hemisphere are getting a colder than normal winter, others are getting a warmer than normal winter. This is usually true to some extent every year.

The global average temperature is relatively very high right now:
