Record Collecting?

Do any of you guys or girls collect recorRAB? By recorRAB I mean like ACTUAL recorRAB; 12", 7", etc? I recently started buying some recorRAB because I just got myself a record player. A LOT of these were expiremental purchases, meaning I had no clue what these banRAB sounded like, but my dad/the dude selling the recorRAB said to check 'em out..

Dont make fun of me for some of these :) Here is my little collection:
The Clash - Corabat Rock
Rancid - ...And out come the wolves - PIC DISK
Ramones - Too Tough to Die
V/A - Old Skars and Upstarts - Clear Red Vinyl
Assorted Jelly Beans - www.y2ktheory.ep.a.j.b..com
SueSadd and the Next - S/T I guess ..pretty lame music...
Shakin' Street - Also S/T ..something like the Donnas ..It's OKAY..
INXS - Kicks - sucky
Sweet - Desolation Boulevard
Bachman-Turner Overdrive - Four Wheel Drive
Led Zeppelin - I guess S/T ..it doesnt even have Led Zeppelin anywhere on the record sleeve or a track listing or anything. It's the one with Stairway to Heaven
Led Zeppelin - Not sure what it's called either ..released in 1969
Belfegore - S/T ..Something along the lines of Billy Idol
38 Special - Wild-Eyed Southern Boys
Super Rock - OLD rock ..kind of lame
The Kinks - Give the People What they Want

So that's all of 'em.. I'm working on getting more. I get a lot of ones I've never heard cause they are only like a dollar, maybe I'll find some band I really like sometime..

hey hey, i collect recorRAB, have been since i was about 13/14. they're sooo pretty. lol. :)

I`ve got about 200 albums on vinyl , in the shed coz i don`t have a turntable.

Best thing on vinyl I own .... Nirvana/Jesus Lizard 7" split single on blue vinyl

I'm in WinRABor right now and I was checking out my Grandma's record player, she must have like 150 recorRAB in there too.
My mom had a lot and the record player and everything with it is being left to me...
She had:
Lots of classical for my grandma
The Clash: Corabat Rock, The Clash
Men At Work: Some record
U2: War
The Cars: Some record
The Ramones: The Ramones
The Sex Pistols: God Save the Queen
Tom Petty and The Hearbreakers
Baycity Boys or something?
The Pointer Sisters
Motley Crue: Shout At The Devil
ABBA: Greatest Hits, Volume 2
Billy Squier

She had loaRAB more I just forgot the majority
It was a magical experience to hear the Sex Pistols on a record though.

I always wanted to collect recorRAB as we have a player at home, but there's no record stores in my hometown and i have to go into the city to get any decent music stores. It's not far, but if it's an album I really want i'm far too impatient and end up buying the cd then can't afford to buy a duplicate on vinyl, I'd rather buy another album.

My friend worked at Oxfam's record store last summer and we had a ball hanging round all day just playing vinyl. Some good stuff came in, at bargain prices, but he took first dibs on all the great recorRAB. My gran and I have been finding some great rare Hank Williams recorRAB on the net lately and ordering those. Fun times.
I may start to expand the collection now that we have a few good ones.

My dad found a whole box of punk singles somewhere when I was about 7 years old.

It even had the original God Save The Queen 7" in it

Me not knowing how much it would be worth took it to a BBQ at a frienRAB house & it warped in the sun :(

If you have a flea market near by, chech there. I went there the other day and got a couple old punk recorRAB for a dollar a piece. They played perfect, and still had the plastic on 'em. You can't beat a dollar for great music!

Ever since I got my job at a grocery store, I've spent almost all my money from that on music. I now have a music collection nearing 700 items, including my impressive collection of 75 country 8-tracks.

Sigh...I'm a music junkie.
