Recommended business courses?

What business courses do you recommend taking when trying to start a new business?
I want to start my own private investigator agency. I am currently a licensed private investigator. What I want to know is what business classes should I take to start my own agency?
 
the number one most important, imho, is business law. it is usually a full year long at community college.

number two, which you should take at the same time as business law, is intro accounting. it too is a full year long at CC.

they are 'usually' considered sophomore classes. other than English language and high school math, there shouldn't be any prerequisites.

Business law is about when you have an agreement and what that agreement consists of. Accounting is about how you keep track of your agreements and their combined financial results.

As the saying goes -- if you can't measure it, it won't happen. Accounting is how you measure in business. Law tells you the amounts and the whens and the whos.
