Recommendation- Read Before Buying A Motorola.

Hey everyone,
Last october I decided to buy a Moto Razr in Black.
To make a long story short, I was completely dissatisfied with the user-friendliness, the software and its bugs, and the fragility of the phone, even though it is made of aluminum.

I decided to spring for a new phone a few weeks ago and got a Coffee Brown Nokia 7370. I Find the software amazing, no battery, camera and screen bugs, nothing- and many more better features.

To anyone thinking of buying a Motorola Phone, my friends and I have owned a lot of them- Anything from the ROKR, RAZR, V551 and I even know someone with a Telus MotoQ- and we're generally not that happy with any of these. Motos generally share problems and glitches.

To any phone user, I would suggest buying a SonyEricsson or a Nokia any day, and I would recommend not buying Motorola Phones- I have never had a bad SE yet either.

I've used and loved plenty of Moto phones. Yea their UI doesn't stack up against Nokia or SE, but they still make decent phones. The V60, V80, E398, V600, V3 and V3i were all great phones when I had them.
 
What bugs are you refering to? I have used a V3 for a very long time, and suffice to say, there are almost NO functions worth really using, so where are the bugs??? The V3 did what it set out to do very well, style and making and receiving calls. I don't know what your talking about with the fragility of the phone?? Do you regularly toss it on the ground or roll over your phones with your car? The V3 is SOLID. Not much you can do to break it without purposeful force.

And how many SEs have you had exactly? I've owned a K700i, a K750i, and a W800i. There is nothing wrong with them, but then there is nothing particularly better about them compared to Motos. (Build quality)

Currently using my Mpx220 until the Nokia N73 comes out with a different color, or until the Sammy D900 drops to about $300.
 
Was dumb enough to buy a RAZR when it first came out, still have it and it works great. ROKR was a good phone with aboutout as many software problems as the w600i (continuous freezing and white screen). SLVR is probably the best reception Cingular branded phone that I've ever owned.
