Being John Malkovich
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind

Not a problem - it's nice to know that BA(Hons) in 'Film Studies' has finally come to some use :D "Internet Explorer" is just as good/bad as any other browser is really, just wish it'd remember my lost posts LOL

As for movies already mentioned in the thread, I'd definitely say take a look at Primer (2004) and Mulholland Drive (2001) if you fancy a good ol' mindf**k :D

Pieces of April (2003) is a really nice little drama, especially when "As You Turn To Go" by "The 6ths" hits in at the end.

If you fancy sampling a TV show or two, can I also pimp the highly underrated "Alias" (2001). Lent my season one box set out to three people so far and each time their first comment was, "Don't suppose you have season two do ya?!" :D :)

Anyway, I'm off to watch "Pan's Labyrinth"; let's hope it lives up to the hype :D

Pans Labyrinth, Donnie Darko, Ghostworld, I Heart Huckabees, Syriana, Truman Show, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Garden State just a few choices for you there

Mulholland Drive is one of those films I hear mentioned alot but haven't got around to watching so I think it's about time I did :)

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about Alias. I remember getting quite into this a few years ago for about 6/8 weeks when Channel 5 (I think) were showing it. As usual it was treated badly by being shown at stupid times instead of the same, sensible time slot each week. I'm not even sure which season it was but I think I'll start again at the beginning and work my way through each season :).

I like David Lynch stuff generally, so when I saw the good reviews Mulholland Drive was getting, I rented it. Its a pile of poo. Seriously. Completely incomprehensible, the worst thing I've seen by him.

Wild At Heart is waaaaaay better :D

OK, well, you could try "Dark Star" (early John Carpenter sci-fi movie; hilariously funny) and "Silent running" starring Bruce Dern, if you like sci-fi, also "Dark city" starring Rufus Sewell.
One of my all-time favourite movies is "The odd couple" with the late Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau.
I also loved "Memento" and "Identity" for pure cleverness and you'll-never-guess-the-ending-ness.
Also love "Born on the fourth of July" --- what a movie!
You should also check out "Jacob's ladder" with Tim Robbins and "1984" with John Hurt and the late Richard Burton
