Recommend a Phone (this one should be simple)

Hi guys,

Some of you might have seen my other thread where I asked your opinion on the Samsung Impression, LG Xenon and LG Eve... After a quick visit to my local Rogers store I realized they were thiefs! Smartphone is out of the question by now and web browsing is less important... So I'm back to square one!

Just to draw you a quick picture, I'm currently using a "pay as you go" plan and I don't want to pay more than $25/month... I was looking at adding the "unlimited web browsing" to my current plan for $10/month but that only give you browsing and access to instant messaging, every message you send is charged as a sms, what's the point in having access to IM if I have to pay for every message anyway ?

So I decided I was fine with just calling and texting!

What I'm looking for in a new phone:
GSM (prefered but a change of provider is possible)
Qwerty keyboard (slider prefered)
Good camera (currently have 2MP with flash (W810i) and looking for better)
Good call quality
Good battery

Thanks!

I think a BlackBerry 9700 with the $15 BIS add-on might suit all of your needs while keeping your budget in mind each month.

What's your budget for the phone alone? Are you looking for an agreement or not?

I can pay between $250 and $350 (max. $400 if it's REALLY worth it!)

I don't mind getting and agreement as long as it fits my budget!

I think that BlackBerry, iPhone and other smartphones are a bit on the expensive side and I won't use them at their full potential so I not sure it's really worth it... Unless there is some way of hacking it (am I allowed to say that here?) to receive data/internet without Rogers knowing/charging.
