i know it needs fast shutter speed and good optical zoom. do you know what else a good digital camera would need for wildlife photography? if you know of a good camera, it would be most helpful if you could send me a link to that camera.
yeh im willing to spend up to £200 but cheaper would be nice
see im 17, doing a photography course i could push the price higher. i'll be taking the photos of all kinds of wildlife yes at the zoo, in a national park and a wolf sanctuary.

Once again, somebody who does not want to reveal their budget!..

£200?, honestly?.. You are not going to get a great wildlife camera for that. As the person below me mentioned, it depends on what type of wildlife shooting you want to do. Whether it's taking snaps of birds in your garden, visiting a zoo or going on safari.

The best you are going to do in that price range is an 'SLR-like' camera such as this..

In good light this (and others like it) will produce great images. I think you are getting confused by 'fast shutter speed'. All cameras have fast shutter speeds!. Do you mean 'frames per second'? if so then you are going to have to invest in a DSLR for a good frame rate and a camera with very little shutter lag (the time it takes from pressing the shutter to taking the picture).
