Recipes that ask for Red cooking wine?

1st do yourself a favor and dump the cooking wine. Cooking wine is horrible and will ruin a great meal

Buy yourself a $5-8 bottle of Red Wine and cook with that and serve the rest with your meal.
 
I have recently bought Regina red cooking wine. I am experimenting with new foods and trying new things and spicing up my recipes. I have never cooked with wine before and was wondering if any of you have a recipe you would like to share that needs red cooking wine.

My husband is from Kansas. He likes meat and potatoes. He is a picky eater too. So it is very hard to find recipes that he would like.

and we are not mushroom eaters. I might be allergic to mushrooms anyway.

I do own a crock pot and a dutch oven!

I also love southern country foods!

I just asked my husband who is from the South and a meat and taters guy. His first response was that there's nothing better than a grilled steak with a red wine reduction. He also said that it's common to saute spinach or collards or kale with wine.
