Reception bars for data vs voice?

Hi, I have a BB 7290 on T-Mobile with a data-only plan. My voice contract with Cingular is expiring soon, and I'm considering dumping Cingular and adding a voice plan to my T-Mobile BB. I live in the DC area and generally have full or near-full reception bars on my BB now. Please excuse my ignorance, but is that indicative of how the voice reception/bar strength will be? I assume it's the same thing?

Thanks!

Hi Bean. They should be a very good indication of how good your voice coverage will be. Data coverage is usually not as widespread as voice coverage. So, if you have strong data coverage, you're good!

definately, agree with ljbyar, and if you are concerned about reception or how many bars you have you can go to t-mobil.com and there is a link that says check your coverage, click on that and you can put in any address in the U.S. and it'll show you what type of reception you should expect.
