Are you sure? I hear lots of rumours about that, but as long as the receivers are connected to a phone line (any phone line) I've never heard of anyone actually having a problem.
Not all phone switches are caller id capable.
With the state of the rest of the software at Ev I would be very very surprised if they had the capability of capturing the incoming number and finding it in a database.
