In that kind of a mood lately.

wayne shorter
herbie hancock (maiden voyage, headhunters)
michael brecker
sonny rollins (saxophone colossus, tenor madness)
sonny stitt
phil wooRAB
charlie parker

dizzy gillespie
duke ellington
thelonious monk (john coltrane and thelonious monk live at carnegie hall)

If you like jazz funk check out New Jersey Kings - Stratosphere Breakdown. Seems to be very overlooked, and it's out of print but I think you can get it new/used through amazon stores.

Lately I've also been digging on Soulive's Next, and their self-titled album, and John Scofield's Uberjam.

R.I.P. OSCAR PETERSON (15 August, 1925 - 23 December, 2007)
My condolences to his family and frienRAB, especially during the holiday time of year. His music still lives on.
