I have had a "popping/knocking" noise coming from the suspension area in my car. It mainly does it when i go over bumps and such in the road. I just bought it a year ago and its made the noise since i got it. I have taken it to numerous honda dealerships under warranty and NO ONE has solved this problem. I have had the springs, struts, and front bump stops replaced and still nothing. Any one have suggestions on where I can research this problem to find any recalls, service bulletins etc? Or tell me what might be causing this problem? I have also tried going through Better Business beaureau to just get my money back or try to get a replacement car......I have not heard back from them in about 6 months after leaving them numerous messages and talking to people. HEELLLLLLP

there were two service bulletins on noises over bumps.

the first is number 06-060 that describes the noise as a rattling over bumps and has to do with a liquid engine mount causing the noise.

the other has to do witht he bump stops and the noise is described as a knocking over bumps after turning.

it could be as simple as having loose bolts in the suspension. by loose I mean an improperly torqued bolt that allows a suspension member to shift under stress. that's the usual cause as opposed to a failed part.

you can research the honda bulletins at www.fedworld.com

hope that helps
