Saw a poster at the cinema the other day.

Described as "The scariest film ever", "One of the best of the year" etc etc. It isn't showing at any local cinemas though, not even the one it was advertised at!

i didnt actually find it that bad until the last 20 mins and then the tension was unbareable.

there is none of the subtext that ruined diary of the dead for me, it is just a straight forward horror film

could have done with being 20 mins longer i think

not really no. for the first 40 mins or so i forgot it was handheld and then yr so caught up in it that it doesn't matter

there are some VERY good 'jumps' in it

this is definitly one of the more scary films i have seen.

im normally not scared by horror films but this one had me, plenty of scares and not the hollywood style.

if you get the chance to see this you MUST!
if you plan to watch the remake make sure you watch this version first.
i even forgot for quite a bit of the film that it was in spanish and subtitled lol

the main thing was that it was handheld and the way it was presented to you made it feel more real like it could of actually happened.

Saw it today, really enjoyed it, and thought that the final 30 minutes or so were brilliantly done.

George A Romero should watch this film and see what he SHOULD have made when he made 'Diarrhoea of the Dead'.

Great film, it's not that scary, did make me jump a few times though, something that i rarely do.

I like the fact that foreign films dont use "hollywood" actors makes it seem all the more realistic.

The camerawork is fine, Cloverfield was just annoying like they were trying to hard to make it look like a home movie by holding the camera at a stupid angle for 90% of the film.

It's only on at Odeon Cinemas I think because they helped fianance it/product it. I work for them and we've been plugging it for a while, from initial reactions it sounRAB really quite scary.

Went to see this about 2 weeks ago, my local had an exclusive preview screening.

Didn't really hear anything about it, but I am with a Radio Station promoting the cinema and they asked me along to see this, so went along to watch it.

I saw the Spanish original and even thought I weren't fussed cause of the Subtitles, I really really enjoyed it. Wouldn't mind seeing the re-make just to see how different they are.

Saw this last night.

It was definitely one of the best horror movies I've seen in a while. The only bad point for me is that it didn't really feel like it was being 'watched' through the camcorder, compared to Cloverfield. But other than that, excellent.
