Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Suzaku: "Curse this nation's proud cosplay heritage!...Hey guys, can I play?"
Zero Army: "NO!"
Suzaku: "Awwww....I'm gonna go kill some more Europeans..."

Wait, do you watch Kamen Rider? Seriously? Dude what's your favorite season because I just finished Hibiki and Kabuto and now I'm watching Den-O. Kabuto kicked ass right? Tendou is like the coolest Kamen Rider ever and when he went Hyper Kabuto, oh man that was cool. I wish Clock Up was real and I liked the English voice of the Zecters especially Gattack's because it sounded nice and edgy and...

What...oh right the episode. Sorry. When I hear Rider Punch or Kick, I get a little nuts...

COSPLAY SAVED THE DAY. Now that we've got that joke out of the way

So anyway, we finally get to see the point of that huge army behind Zero in the OP song. It makes sense now anyway. Finally, we get to see Nina again. Not exactly my favorite character but I did want to see what happened with her and the school. (LOL she did it wrong).

When they did the candle thing, at first I thought the other candle was Euphy's sister's (can't remeraber her name). But seeing Lelouch do it was a very nice emotional touch.

All right Lloyd, listen. I like mecha as much as you do. You ask me a Gundam series, I'll tell you the main Gundam and their specs. But I'm going to really, REALLY start hating you for passing Cecil up. I mean look at that dress. Did I notice the conversation between the knights and Zero. No, I actually had to watch it again because I was too busy staring at Cecil. (Yeah, I admit it. I mean look at that dress. Do you not see those things just about ready to pop out?)

Anyway on the rest of the storyline. Rolo being boderline-yaoi as usual but I am definitely waiting to see his reaction when he realizes that Lelouch is totally using him. He's borderline-psycho as it is (actually it may not even be borderline)

This weeks Mastercard parody

Costumes-hundreRAB of dollars
Mass smoke borabs-thousanRAB of dollars
Ships for a million people-A couple billion dollars
Getting said million people to cosplay as a national idol while under the cover of mass smoke borabs to escape on ships and the government can't do a damn thing about it-Priceless

There are some things money can't buy, for those things, there's Zero.

Hey, I just realized, Kallen wasn't blatant fanservice in this episode

You know, yesterday I was having a moment of second thoughts *kicks self* over Lelouch's 'death', (probably due to half crappy arguments and then those who kept screaming that he actually died) -but now reading that I'm pretty much assured he lived. How couldn't he?
When you take every bit of overwhelming evidence and put it together, all the answers point to one place (ie: Lelouch isn't dead). Not to mention, like Suzaku told him episodes ago, because he had started this mess through lies, he had to finish it through such as well. *favorited that site* I hadn't thought to realize that alot of those parallels even existed.

Most of it is stuff that's just been overanalyzed to be honest, but the smaller parallels like how the season enRAB in both season 1/2, how Lelouch simply lies to a lot of people to try and get things his way; what better way to end the series for Lelouch than to have him stage the biggest lie of them all? His own death?

I think that video had some spoilers. Were some of those guys future Knights of RounRAB? I loved the cameo of an orange that was funny.

A perfect episode to set up the final turn (especially with Cornelia being alive, Schneizel being Geassed, and Nunnally opening her eyes). Cherish the next episode, as it will be the last episode of the last season of the best anime currently premiering in Japan, and since its beginning in both Japan in America, it has been the best anime premiering in both countries, and yet now it is only on at 5:00 AM in America, probably won't go back to a better timeslot, and obviously can't ever be on Toonami. So in one week, cherish that half-hour more than any other.

So you refuse to accept the idea of an evil empire that is racist, but an evil empire that blows up a planet is acceptable?

Last I checked, an evil empire is SUPPOSE to be evil.

Unless you believe racism as an issue will go away if we deny that it exists, and no one should ever talk bout it?

In Code Geass, it was shown vey clearly that most of Brittania's faults stem from its constitutional support for inequally. People like Vietta and Orange were not inherently bad people, but in order to fit into a twisted nation they had to twist themselves into ugly shapes. They became cruel and violent to others because if they don't, others would do it to them.

For all we know, maybe Suzaku will get a bit of perspective when somebody messes with his mind, implants a perma-Geass for an x amount of time and has one of his closest frienRAB slaughter a select nuraber of people. For all I care he... kindof deserves it.

I'd like to think that Suzaku will go way too far in his quest for vengeance, and then be struck with a revelation about what had caused the rift between him and Lelouch.

No, in the past OPs they've had us zoom past non-reactive characters. This one...it's the kind you'd find in any generic harem anime OP. We even have the three new girls struggling to hide their panties.

Oh Geass, with your hypocrisy and angtsy teen melodrama...

...

I've had a long, freaking, week. *Fixes.*

I don't know why, but I had Shirley on my mind when I was typing that. Ugh. That, and I can't think straight at all this week.

Nah.

see Zarabot 3 (main group of protagonists committ suicide to bring down antagonists), Ideon (everyone dies), MS Zeta Gundam, Aura Battler Dunbine.

This. They are both are basically one in the same. Geass that manipulates the truth. Similar pasts. But the one difference being that Charles wanted a future to satisfy himself, while Lelouch wanted a future that satisfied the dreams of others before his own desires (those of Nunally). Even this ending, which you knew was coming as the parallels formed, makes sense for Lelouch's path and fighting for someone else. He doesn't like his family. Far from it. They abandoned him and Nunally, why on earth would he personally want to rule and be the follow-up emperor to his father? Yet he does it, because of his wish for making the dreams of someone else come true. Much akin to Suzaku, which is why it makes sense that the two are now allied once again ("You killed Euphy". "So?" is so eloquently done there. They both are fighting and doing what they have done for basically, the same reasons though with different outer ideals in moving towarRAB that dream).
