Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Ah, its the switching between comdey episodes and drama/action episodes that people don't like. Oh well.

I think it gives the adience a chance to relax after the action episodes, which happens to be a standard tactic in storytelling.

Though, it begs the question: what would Code geass be without its comdey....

I thought maybe it was a spaceship that LeLouch builRAB or more likely steals, but anything is possible I suppose. Between that, "Wings of Light" for Guren and Lancelot, and Zantsuki charging some fortress or something, they seem to be hinting at a pretty major escalation before the end.

My guess is that LeLouch rallies the world against Britannia but the Emperor has some insane trump card up in space, so a small task force heaRAB up there led by Kallen while Tohdoh and Xing-Ke do their best to kick ass on the ground. Because the thing is, I don't think your average Knightmare can even operate in outer space. So it has to be an advanced model or it's nothing doing.

Who the heck knows, though. I'm sure whatever happens will be a surprise entirely different from what I can imagine right now.

Some perspective still must be established. I'd at least like to know what it's like so I can see for myself if this is the only free democracy in the Geass world.

But then what about the people of Brittiana? I doubt they'd want to follow an emperor who used to be their nuraber one enemy. Him going public could create even more problems.

Wow, Hellcat just became Mao. You guys remeraber right? Mao saying he was going to chop C.C. so he could take her with him overseas. Hellcats lost it.

He was willing to sacrifice Suzaku when he order the Avalon to fire at Zero, which was the episode were Zero gave Suzaku his "live" command. And he was using Euphia as a pawn just to buy time to smooth things over with the Chinese, he didn't care wether her plan work or not at all.

Err, I think I miss the "JAPAN IS SUPERIOR" line

More watchable?

FMP never separated its plots though. It did serious and then did comedic, but you were never under the impression that a B team of interns was doing the comedic eps.

Well this the set up for the final episodes is complete. The battle for Brittanna, the teams are set.

I do find it hard to root for Lelouch, he has been real evil the last couple of episodes, though he admits it, it is act, but still hard to root for him, but Schneizel is still an evil punk.

It is Lelouch vs Schneizel, two unlikeable people. I think Lelouch wants to lose, he plans on going down, but he wants to take down Schniezel with him.

New Guren and Lancelot

Guren Seitenhakkyokushiki (Guren Sacred Heavens Eight Extremities Version)

"Guren's New Form. Details are unknown, but it has monstrous potential."

Lancelot Albion

"Considered to be an enhanced form of Lancelot."

The new Guren is still on the BKs side on the website, so no betrayal on Kallen's part from what we can see.

A lot of those rumors sound flat out ridiculous, so I wouldn't believe them or spread them around. When Gundam 00 was running random forums of little repute had a lot of rumors too, and at least half were 100% crap.

but the difference between FMP comedic episodes and Geass comedic episodes is that the FMP ones are actually funny. While random and silly, they have a whole different feel to me than the recent Geass episode had. Even while intertwining themselves into the main plot, they never lost the feeling of FMP greatness.
I think some series just do it a little better.

The ED actually makes it seem like they will grow further apart. Lelouch is in White and Suzaku is in black. Which is odd, IIRC it used to be the opposite, so maybe this is a showing the Suzaku will be brought down further and further. Funny thing is his name is the 'White Knight' and yet now he can't justify his own name.

Edit:

And to further what HellCat said, Lelouch put it best...

"That is why we must erabrace carnage. In order to not waste the blood that has already been shed, we have no choice but to shed even more."- Lelouch Vi Britannia
