Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

More proof that Pizza Hut must be run by people like C.C.

That may also explain why they charge more exorbitant prices than the rest of the other pizza chains.

I think it works. It would be against his character to call it an empire. Sure, he could've called it the Japanese Republic instead or something, but United States points to future unification/conquest and is a message of sorts to the Emperor saying "I'm coming for you!"

The only sins we know about are the ones from Lelouch's POV. We don't have his side yet, which I am guessing is what we shall get in this episode. We don't know why he has taken actions like this, etc. Honestly, I think the 'ALL HAIL BRITANNIA' and the like is a front he puts on. Nobody is going to follow somebody who is weak and passive, so he acts tough to be strong.

Those that know or figured out Lelouch true good intention, will have to bite their tongue forever when ever someone that doesn't know that speaks ill of Lelouch. They can't even tell each other and discuess the situation. That is the saddest and more tragic part for me, is Lelouch's legacy will that of a tyrant and is true heroism will never be known to most.

I also think some of those same people know Suzaku is the new Zero. The people who know that include: Nunnally, Kallen, Lloyd, Cecil. Only Lelouch, Suzkau, and C.C. know that for a fact, the others know simply by putting two and two together, and will never tell Zero "I know who you are", not even Nunnally.

One thing the ending does do for us, it gives us a lot of material for fan fics.

Can anyone post a picture of the wedding photo? I would like to see that and exam it.

I thought that wedding photo is very syrabolic of the unifaction of the world, in the openings you had a bunch of groups standing together in a pose, each part of their own faction. Now they are all unified.

Imagine if Zero/Lelouch finRAB his way to the European front where Suzaku's helping Britannia. At the last minute of a near Britannian victory, Lelouch just asks him to "Live" and thus destroy Suzaku's reputation in the Knights of the Round and ruin Britannia's campaign against Europe.

Hopefully we get some insight into Europe. It seems that the Geass staff share the same disdain for Europe like 00's.

There's a scene in the new episode preview with Lelouch looking a little..panicked. I hope that doesn't mean something happens to Nunally.

I think it's safe to say that Luciano is crazy. Maybe not as crazy as first season Mao, but pretty....screwed up. Watching him rip the top off of that mech and stare the pilot in the face, all the while taunting him about 'what is most important'?- creepy.

While I understanRAB everybody's arguments for and against Suzaku, I personally don't like him just because I so strongly wanted to see a reconciliation. Lelouch admitted fault to everything that Suzaku threw at him because he had no other choice and probably felt that the only way Suzaku would accept him back was to tell him the answer he wanted to hear[ no beating around the bush]. And while it's true to some degree, I don't think Suzaku would have even understood Lelouch if he went into great detail. I'm sure that he's also feeling low and it's not just his job to make amenRAB. Suzaku can't expect to sit back and do nothing while still making things right with Lulu. I wanted to punch the bastard right in the face when he kicked his friend. Even declaring "do you think I'd forgive you" doesn't look good. Also, yes, Lelouch jumped to conclusions when he was captured by the enemy, but what else WAS he supposed to think? I mean, it looked like Suzaku sold him out, and like Lelouch in season one [the scene where Suzaku mentioned Euphie and Lelouch didn't deny his involve meant] he didn't say anything and just watched. Even a simple 'What are you doing!?' would have sufficed. If I was Lelouch obviously I would have thought the same thing- "oh this man just betrayed me". After so long they had been fighting each other, it's not like it was never a possibility. I don't really feel very sympathetic for Suzaku. Even though Lulu is no saint, at least he knows what he's fighting for and isn't a coward about it. He isn't hiding behind his sadness, either.
I still want them to survive this show, together. I just don't have alot of hope for that happening.

Xingke D: Don't get hurt Xingke!!! You need to return to the princess.
Diethard you cant threaten Ougi, you're too...not-manly-ish.

* Booo, I don't think I'll be around for next weeks episode ;_;

Thank the goRAB, this is from

http://giapet.net/2008/04/16/official-news-on-the-geass-leak/

Of Course they wouldn't delay the show. Its wasn't even a leak. god, the rumors that spread on the internet. Messing with the schedule of an anime only temps people to watch the illegal downloaRAB after the show's run is over. I'm glad sunrise understanRAB this.

AND I WANT LEGAL DUB ONLINE VIEWING! Lucky Japanese.

However given the rather diverse group of Britannian prince and princesses it seems that it has yet to be the case.

Although I wouldn't bet against the one who hates Nunally (and is about her age) and foreigners to be one of those 'extra-retard babies' that Hank Venture would be unsure about. (But then again that may be just my disdain for her being made visual).

I was actually hoping Suzaku would be pushed into Lelouch's side, but I do wonder if they're going for a rough ending instead. I could see Lelouch winning but the cost being incredibly high, as opposed to what I was hoping would be the case...namely Lelouch winning and managing to avoid losing his soul, after which he steps away from power and discarRAB the identity of Zero. After everything he's gone through, I'm hoping that the idea of holding onto his power will become repugnant to him. Instead, I worry that he's being pushed into a chaotic fate that he can't avoid.

It was arguably still less absurd in some respects, even looking at the list of Timmay's examples, because there usually was some decent setup for many of them (with the exception of, say, Mao's, and even that was quickly resolved), and some events weren't as rushed as a few R2 situations.

Not in the mood to go over each and every one, because that's not really the point either.

It's not that there weren't plot twists, ridiculous moments and what have you, but a case can be made for their execution being generally better the first time around.

Then again, I don't mind the fanservice either, for the most part, if everything else is okay.

Right now, I think the series is a bit too erratic in its presentation of certain events, even if we are mostly going over previously seen elements.

The key worRAB are "balance" and "execution", as far as I'm concerned. It's not the ingredients themselves, but how they are being used. Just because they were there before doesn't mean they couldn't be used better.

I don't expect those elements and situations to go away, but I do hope that the series finale will be treated better than, say, the recently concluded China adventure. That doesn't require a Baccano! level effort or what have you (but that series, curiously enough, had a few absurdities of its own too), just tightening things up.

Also, the whole ninja meme is funny but isn't really what we're seeing.

Well, it also depenRAB on the situation, and more specifically, her situation. I think that Sunrise left that detail in for a reason, otherwise they would have just said she is blind physically, why go to the trouble by making it Mentally if they weren't going to use it as a plot device of some sort? I'm not saying it'd be easy, but I think if the situation calls for it, she may be up to it.

If that resulted as product of him being killed....*kicks down door*. Can we at least keep the main character alive? It's like this show was made for the purpose of annoying the hell out of fans.

He'll probably blame Lelouch for the fact that it's hard, fruity, and doesn't respond when he proposes to it.
