Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Finally watched the episode. And for all my attempts to understand and give Suzaku a chance, I must say that his beatdown was well-deserved and kindof expected, all the while being well-executed in a way that is rather... satisfying to say the least. Other than that, good way to establish the new opposing power in the Geass world. I thought the scroll down of the hierarchy of the Black Knights was great, but I didn't like that it was cut out, I would've loved to see it all the way through.

Either way, interesting developments all the way around, can't wait to see Lelouch and Suzaku's heart-to-heart next week.

Man this season is amazing.

A whole lot of silly in this episode but in all that silly there were important things going on and a lot of very close calls.

That pink haird girl sure is weird.

So Milly hasn't been mind wiped... VUUUUUUUUUURY interesting. That could prove troublesome for Lulu.

Lulu has to stay on his toes. Seems like a really miserable existance but I guess he likes the challenge at least a little bit.

I liked that scene with Lulu and Suzaku when they were thinking the same thing about their current situations and then they said the same thing. Very well done.

Oh dang it Suzaku... that's incredibly ruthless. How dare you use Nunally. Now Lulu has no choice but to hurt her to protect them both. I knew Lulu was a jerk... but Suzaku plays that game so much meaner.

Nice parody....

Someone else might succeed in looking it up or we'll just have to wait until more supplementary materials are out (booklets on the DVRAB, etc.) but...I'd guess the simplest way to look at it is to assign most of the practical blame on Charles, since he was using imperialism and a series of related beliefs or policies (men are not created equal, strong over the weak, etc.) as the public justification behind his conquests, in order to control the necessary ruins for the Ragnar

Ok, so I'm rewatching season 1 because err, even with the dub I still can't get enough Geass.

And I found I new line that I love:

Guess who says it. If you win you get to kiss a meraber of the student council of your choice. (not like this is hard, but I wonder what are peoples favorite lines from this show)

Oh, and I've also finally got the full version of OP 2 and its awesome.

Bland logo, but not that bad of a concept.

She doesn't have the authority -unless Schneizel suddenly backs her up- but it doesn't mean she can't try, even if it involves trickery like bringing up Euphie and seeing if that moves Suzaku.

In any case, she probably won't be able to get away with it (especially if the borab does end up causing all those deaths, which seemed quite transparently foreshadowed) without paying a certain price, even if she somehow doesn't die.

Unfortunately for yourself, that's how the dice are being rolled, and I personally like it. Yes, I do know something you don't :P.

But, if it makes tou feel better...

Supposedly, he should also be meeting his end tomorrow(today?) Which makes me happy if only because I want Schneizel to get owned.

Rational and understandable explanation may defuse this situation entirely. While I may say this is potential to call foul for the downturn of the series, I'm willing and able to see this through if it is done well.

Uhm. I'm pretty sure the Guren update showed that she isn't going to switch sides. If she does it is as an act, because the new Guren was in the OoTBK section, not Britannia's.

Also, I don't think they are going to space, maybe there is a machine out there that V.V. can use, but I don't think we will see all of them go to space. Maybe like a transportation type thing?

Out of all the inspirations Goro, you picked GUNDAM SEED?! BLAAAARG. Either Gino or Suzaku's going to intercept a nuke head-on with a GAR "I make the impossible possible!" I'm calling it.

Definitely.

To be honest, I think that's reading way too much into both scenes, especially the first...but I can understand why you would.

I'm rooting for Lelouch since it's pretty clear this is just a gigantic troll act to actually do something good in the end, but...Schneizel, who may seem similar on the surface but is actually trolling people with his supposed goodness and the real deal is far more genocidal, seems to have noticed.

I guess the most she can hope for is pity at this point, if that.

That would be a good idea, yes.
