Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Oh c'mon guys it's not THAT bad. In fact it's... rather charming, even no-name Ashford guy with the handcannon. You want something bad...

Lelouch, activating Geass: "Time is short and my cause is just. I am Lelouch vi Britannia and as the revolutionist Zero I have reduced a global empire to its knees. What chance then have you to stand in my way? Give me what I demand!"
Pizza Hut employee: "Nice try, pal, but you still have to pay for your pizza"
Lelouch: *does that weird pose with his hand and sulks*

I think most of the inner circle of the black knights understood what happened. Nunally figured it out through mind-hacks, Orange already knew, Kallen figured it out, it looked liked Toudou figured out the identity of Zero. I wouldn't put it past Kaguya or the rest of them to have figured out given their reaction to watching Lelouch die.

NIPPON BANZAI!

And being japanese is something in you heart. Awwww…

Lloyd, wake up you fool and hit that. Look at Cecile sitting right next to you with “those puppies” ready to burst out….grrr….god, how can you let that go….stupid nerd….

A bullet was dodged, as in different hanRAB there might have been more than one "gah, don't take off your clothes!" moment. The preview gave cause to worry. Fortunately they actually had a good angle since her behavior throughout the episode established the way she lived before she received Geass--very terribly.

On a somewhat related note, an Anya theory. She seems very similar to the way C.C. is right now. She has an oddly calm personality and some strange behavior, and she has no memory. A Geass could explain it, but its also very possible this can all be attributed to Anya's memory being wiped and her regressing to a point where she had to relearn things from scratch. She also had a Geass reaction when she clashed with C.C, and so far as I know that doesn't necessarily always happen. It could be that Anya is currently immortal like C.C. and doesn't know it.

Could be...if Schneizel decides to use the borab and Suzaku can't do anything about it alone, I could see him breaking out Kallen to help him stop it. Perhaps they could mirror Lelouch's moment in this episode. "You have no reason to trust me, but there's no one else I can ask for help."

Back on topic, on the subject of kallen joining forces with Susaku, I'll quote a comment on a blog:

andreas:

Also, I'm surprised no one mentioned the train that Lulu is planing to use shut down Tokyo. Looks like we will be seeing a Black Rebellion Redux soon.

That's all fine and peachy but just because you're a solider doesn't mean somebody can force you to change your morals and your way of life. Suzaku isn't a blood thirsty murder nor is he somebody who would be absolutly ruthless and torture his captive. Maybe that works for some people but for others it isn't in their nature, and just because one takes a certain job that may require them to do such things, doesn't mean they will be able to when the time comes. There are other ways to get what you want with out beating the crap out of people, Knight or not.
Then again, with the way he threatens about Lelouch, makes me wonder if he's willing to spare Kallen yet not his bestfreind.

Well...

To be honest, I had a feeling that she suddenly was able to break the Geass on her eyes, when she suddenly knew where the Switch (or Key as she was calling it) for the Flare. That was a pretty big hint. The opening of her eyes pretty much just stole it though.

Still, seeing Nunnally with Eyes is rather something of a shocker to me. We've seen them when she was a child, but it just feels odd to see them when she's older.

Anyways, as for the episode itself? I was expecting it to be far worse, especially since I didn't think they would have enough time to work all they had into the episode, but they did. Although, I am surprised that Lelouch allowed Schneizal to live and just Geass'd him. Feels a bit forced, but whatever.

Nah, Susaku crying proved he really thought he was killing Lelouch. I believe Lelouch didn't even realise that he had a code, and was therefore immortal, so I'm sure Lulu though he was going to die.

She is only mentally blind, there is a chance that she may finally open her eyes this season. It just depenRAB when she is ready I guess.

Lol. Wow, I think only you would think of this, but it made me laugh, really hard. BUT! If there is to be any yaoi pairing with Suzaku in it, it'd have to be GinoxSuzaku, no others are worthy.
