Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Ah, my mistake. Anime neeRAB to be more serious....err..wait.

And why most my opinion be censored and rewrote? Is in it not a contradiction of what you just wrote?

Ah, nevermind. I think I woke up on the grumpy side of the bed today.

It makes sense that Suzaku would connect things back to Euphie. But I believe that unless Suzaku can truly forgive Lelouch/Zero for Euphie's incident and clear up the whole clouded understanding around it, like Shirley suggested before being killed, her death will be in vain. I do hope that he remerabers those worRAB of hers, after all, she also lost somebody important to her and was able to reconcile after it.
I would hate to see them further being ripped apart because neither one can be civil.

In actuality, the show is so bad it'll just keep getting pushed back again and again *gets dragged off by Suzaku fangirls* This isn't fair!!

Dude, he was just making a casual observation on what exactly was the destructive properties of Freya.

As for right now, everybody being on the same side seems unlikely. I mean, think of the awkwardness if the usual motif in SEED:

Kira: I killed your friend.
Athrun: And I killed yours, but let us forgive one another and join forces against the real enemy.
Kira: Awesome.

Ended up in similar result to Geass:

Kira: I killed your friend.
Athrun: And I destroyed a sizable portion of Japan ending a copious amount of lives. But let us forgive one another and join forces against the real enemy.
Kira: uuuuuuh... No.

Random Curiosity had a little commentary about Geass' ratings that may be interesting to some; the relevant portion is below.

Hopefully ratings will continue to build a bit more, paving the way for 00 to do well when its turn comes. Geass is definitely moving now, so it may yet draw in more viewers.

...oh my god I totally forgot that. Thank you for reminding me that they didn't know Zero was Lelouch. We've been on this track for so long that it's so easy to relate Zero= Lelouch while the rest of the world in this show can't. *found the source of her confusion* This makes me see that scene in a whole new light now.

It comes to mind that Charles failed for a key reason- he based his reign on 4Chan.

Lelouch: "Father, my mother is dead!"
Charles: "Old news is old"
Lelouch: "I am disgusted you have done nothing about it"
Charles: "ROFL STFU NOOB"
Lelouch: "I officially deny my royal heritage"
Charles: "Charles can has Sakuradite?" *ships Lelouch and Nunnally off to Japan*

BOOBS!................................................... of death...

anyway, is next episode earthquake related or something?, cause thats the only way i can see it being a problem with china's rescent event.

Yeah, imagine in America, where some bright-eyed, bushy-tailed youth, is transposed on animation while Zero and/or Kallen in some big ****-eating grins say "Let's go get some Pizza Hut" as they skate around in their Knightmare Frames. and here comes the Britannians with Suzaku saying "Oh no! We're never let you get that Pizza, Zero!" Some kid pulls off some fast strategy and all the Britannian Frames are in a twisted wreck, while he and all the Rebellion celebrate while Zero makes him an honorary meraber, filling his face with ****-eating glee.

Kallen: Oh God, the Lancelot is about to kill me!
Zero: Kallen! (drops something from above in the Gawain) Eat this new Cheese-Filled Pizza Crust with 19 types of Cheese.
Kallen: *eats it* I feel stronger!
*Gurren obliterates Suzaku*
Suzaku: Hey wait a minute, pizza has no health benefits, why the **** would it help defeat me!
Zero: Because like pizza...
Zero and Kallen: ...THIS SHOW HAS NO NUTRITIONAL VALUE WHATSOEVER!
Suzaku: So how did that work ou-- (gunshot)
Zero: Quiet you!

They creators keep her around as the village bashing post. When Suzaku isn't beat heartless, you can beat Nina still is. She's the character that everybody hates (for good reasons too), and plus, getting rid of her would mean that Schneizel neeRAB a new maid. If anything, I think karma will come around and bite her, big time. You can't just take a character, make her this insane baskest-case-racist monster, and then allow her to walk free at the end with not a scratch. It's not good taste

What I'm saying is you can't technically compare the Britannian Empire, an empire driven by a sense of racial ideology, towarRAB the Galactic Empire of Star Wars, which is driven for hte sake of power and not for any racist ideology.

Oh, right, I forgot that part. Well, that dramatically increases the odRAB that I'm wrong. It doesn't have to be taken as a romantic hint; besides that stuff she appeared to be crying in the opening scene at the bath, if you ask me. So maybe all there is to the character is her apprehension of what happens once she's beyond the safe, easy environment of Ashford and has to face the world. Though, she sure seems to have gotten away from the expectations of her position pretty easily.

Hey, I like Shirley, if only because I have a soft spot for RedheaRAB. Thought I do say she was worth her time since we got to see a more emotional Lulu than normal. It add depth to his character.

Yes, Shirley was basicly at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Oddly enough, I know a girl named Shirley but she has not seen Code Geass. No, I'm not joking. Sadly, she is not a redhead.

As for that other ditz, the Not-Named must not be named!

Right, that's what I meant. I'm also very skeptical that his final objective is anything good. On top of all of that, there's his unapologetic bigotry and "ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!" rhetoric.
