Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

I don't care about the crazy plot twists, I just mind that they're now in the business of playing directly to fanservice fetishes. Season 1 had fanservice but it was rarely in-your-face about it.

Suzaku...

Suzaku is torturing Kallen. He accused Lelouch of killing Shirley to her face. And he's going to forcibly give her Refrain. Ofcourse, Lelouch is kind of evil here too in this episode, but he's just being consumed by his rage a bit too much. Suzaku, however, is being definitive villain material here.

Well, there are plenty of fans that like the mix of comdey and action thats been part of the show since its start. We really don't need to be reminded every episode that you don't like the mix of action and comedy. It certainly is not going to change now so it does come off as hate.

Though I'm glad you drop the Code Geass is racist comments since that was even worst, and quite wrong. Especally now with the federation shown in a positive light, more britainnians shown positively, Zero trying to people a political union bigger than Japan, etc.

Aye, agreed. However, one thing. The more I look, the more I'm not 100% sure if they'll actually do this. Some seem to think it's just japanese fans trolling around with the delay/remake info. So I can't confirm that.

The 6-minute leak is true, though.

*cue Gershwin*

Gino: Hey Suzaku, the pizza man didn't hold the anchovies do you wanna take it back and--
Suzaku: Damn you Lelouch!

Anya: Hey Suzaku I accidentally forgot that your Round uniform was dry clean only so I...
Suzaku: Curse you Lelouch!

*at a poker table*
Bismarck: 4 of a kind.
Anya: Flush.
Gino: Straight flush!
Suzaku (who lost): LELOOOOOOUCH!

*playing Army of Two co-op, Suzaku dies*
Suzaku: Damn you Lelouch!
Gino: Jesus Suzaku we're on Campaign Co-op and we're just fighting computer AI!

*watches the ending to Burton's Planet of the Apes*
Suzaku: You maniac! You screwed it all up! Damn you... Damn you all to helllllll!
Gino (next seat over): *sigh* Lelouch again...
Suzaku: No! EFFING TIM BURTON! Lelouch may be a ****** but he wouldn't screw up THIS bad.

Oh there a lot more worse things to be wounded about.

I started a Rivalz fanclub, but don't even consider myself a meraber, because I hate Rivalz, yet I love him at the same time. Because he is the neglected hero of the Geass franchise.

You people you're all Kallensexual or Suzakusexual in your fanboy/girl preferences. I'm Rivalzexual. I have to make a personal home video between me and Rivalz to the trailer to Brokeback Mountain. Not because I'm homosexual, but Rivalzexual, which are two different things.

If you think otherwise your argument is wrong and you are full of lies and slander. I'd do something about that but my ribs have already been broken by other Geass fanboys and girls.

I think one of the scariest things about having a geass that can see a future event is if the event being witnessed becomes some life altering thing. What if you could foresee the end of the world? Or the death of a loved one? How do you go about stopping it and can you ever really? I think such a powerful thing has the ability to drive anybody insane. I now wonder if Bismarck was able to tell that he would eventually be defeated, and Lelouch would at some point sacrifice himself? For a side character, he had the potential to hold alot of knowledge that the viewer is never told about, especially since we barely know the full explanation of his geass and its entire limitations. I mean, what if it can see more than a few seconRAB like how Rolo was able to continuously use/ extend the time his geass worked for by putting more stress on his heart?
As for which Geass I'd personally pick.... I'm stuck between either Rolo's or Lelouch's. Rolo has the disadvantage of a harmful side effect, but then as we've seen with Lelouch his could lead to a similar situation. I'd probably end up choosing Lelouch's geass, because there are still ways to manage it with out going overboard.

Episodes 1-4 got leaked online about a week before R2 went on air, too. I can understand why Sunrise would start getting protective at this point. If they're smart they'll do it for the last 3-4 episodes.

Not to mention the Japanese rebels hes killed as he serves his britaian masters. HES A HIPPOCRATE and a TRAITOR!

At least zero admits hes going to do whatever it takes, including killing people to create his dream.

Erwin Rommel was not that great of a genius, he just had to guts to push the envelope. Unlike say some gundam 00 commanders who need to learn to not let enemies escape constantly from them. Many times is was questioned whether Rommel would even be able to get reinforcements for all the losses he incurred. But history and glory belong to the bold so Rommel is quite famous.

Did anyone notice the music when Lelouch was talking to C.C. at the beginning? It sounded like something you'd hear in a dirty movie or something. (It starts when C.C. is about to take off her shirt too bow-chika-wow-wow)

Knowing it was the end watching this episode was exciting. So the ending was kind of predictable, Lelouch sacrafising himself for the world, and the opposite of his selfish parents. I thought that was very heroic.

I was hoping in the last scene that we would see Lelouch wearing some disguise and turning out he faked is own death, he and C.C. would live happily ever after.

It is bitter sweet for me, finally knowing how it enRAB, but at the time sad that there are no more episodes.
