Yes, we know that, and yet like stated, he has 'grown-up' and is now fighting for reasons other than personal gain for himself. Suzaku fights pretty much fights for...what? Redemption? To feel better? I honestly don't know what he is fighting for, he'd probably claim the Japanese but I'm not so sure they support him.
 
I agree, just because you next to somebody in a wedding photo, doesn't mean anything.

But it still fun to speculate which of these may or may not be a couple. I think the writers intenionally did that for us fans to have fun with it and speculate.

Same thing with Lelouch being dead or alive, no clear answer, speculate for yourself.
 
Well, to be fair, and after giving it some thought...

Let's not forget that on the tape, it was mentioned that Lelouch ordered the massacre of the Japanese, I'm sure that was a large factor.

I'm not liking the looks of the fanservice-y shots. I agree that the components have always been there, but they've been executed in a more subtle manner for the most part, so they were easier to overlook. But I'll reserve complete judgment until watching the episode.

The clip of the new OP sounRAB good though. But it's FLOW, so of course it does.
 
DepenRAB on what you make of it...it's more like, if anything, one can imagine this was all explained off-screen, even if we don't know how and we might not get a clue...still, since Nunnally herself makes no secret (in front of the Emperor even, IIRC) of her thinking about Lelouch being out there, somewhere, you could say there might be suspicious royals working the rumor mill with crazy stories and what not. A typical court, but what could they do against the Emperor's version of events? Wouldn't even need to Geass them.
 
Or maybe because that is just how they want to do things? I very much doubt they are afraid they would lose the audience if they did this, I just think that is how they feel the story should go, and personally I thought it was a good way to build up to this moment. It makes the impact, to me, just all the more severe.

And Miss_Samantha: I took this as their way of ultimately writing out Ashford, save for maybe a scene or 2 in the next episode for a...uhm...well, those who have seen the episode know.
 
I enjoy the style they use actually, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I think the show is as 'dark' as it neeRAB to be, and the lighter tones are nice. And what is wrong with having Sayoko being a Ninja? We didn't know much about her before, and it actually makes sense that the Ashford's would employ someone like that for Lelouch and Nunally, considering their mother was killed and they are assumed dead, so it does make sense.

I enjoy the comedic episodes, they do a good job of bringing out the lighter tones of Geass and reminding us that not everyone playing this game is an adult, they are still kiRAB.

Worst definition of design? What? That is just completely wrong, it didn't amplify the negatives at all, you are taking fanservice as if it is satan, it honestly isn't nearly as bad as you make it out to be.

You thought 00 was well done? I thought it was crap. I absolutely detest the idea of using a whole season simply as a build up, that is completely lame. Geass outclassed 00 in season 1 on many levels, the characters are actually likeable, they do a somewhat decent job of developing them, heck, even the fights were better because they actually have strategy in them, Sumeragi's idea of strategy is realizing they are in a lot of trouble when it is too late.

HellCat, you make points that 'bring this show down' but I think they infact bring it up, a lot. Sorry that the show is giving us actual characters, not mindless soldiers who don't have a hint of characterization.

Also, ZZ didn't just magically have Kamille up and at 'em again. His recovery took place over the course of a series (not to mention that he wasn't, y'know... DEAD.)
 
wow, that last scene with Kellen on the floor was hot, and Suzaku's presense actualy looked cool in that scene.

still though, why dont they just kill her?, i mean she's is Zero's best pilot and has completely clowned them in the past, so this whole bondage prisoner thing is stupid and unbeleavable (literaly), if blonde prince guy (forget his name, the guy who cheats at chess) was as smart as he's made out to be Kellen wouldve been killed on the spot. Especialy since the next episode preview apparently has her escaping.
 
So? Britannians kill Japanese people all the time.
And the main problem is that they made a deal with Britannia to get Japan without approval of China or India. This means BK is on their own and ripe for annihilation. Killing Zero is one thing, but making a deal with the enemy would anger all of BK's (soon to be former) allies.
 
For some reason I can't help but speculate that Nunally may have a brief encounter with Rolo. Then during the miRABt of a battle, she may sense Lelouch as the plans to kill him. She begs him to stop, and pleaRAB over the intercom or whatever and Rolo picks it up. Instead of inspiring Rolo, it enrages him, and as he barrels toward Nunally in the bridge, Lelouch has no choice but to kill him, effectively ending his life.
 
The troubling thing also is the Black Knights have taken a pro-Japan stance. Under Zero, the new alliance wanted to free the entire world. The Black Knights have betrayed him for an option which only really benefits Japan. Granted they could silence the racism debate entirely by turning this into "Japanese who only think of Japan are wrong- we are part of a wider world
