Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

More like-

Ougi: "And that's how we survived!"
Kallen: "..But...you didn't explain anything. You just sat there and said "And that's how we survived!" "
Ougi: "...Kallen, be a good girl and go clean the Gurren"

I sure didn't. I must the blindest anime fan alive.

At least it is a very, well-thought out, provacating hypothesis/research paper of sorts on a currently unfinished Japanese cartoon

You know if Viletta is pregnant I almost expect this show to kill her off in one of the next two episodes. Because it comes off as a "shocking" plot twist.

I'm reserving my overall judgments of this episode until I see it subbed. But yeah. Last week's ending? Made me lose a lot of interest in this show. "As the Geass Turns" "Guiding Geass" etc etc. Biggest soap opera ever animated. :/

I could do nothing more to hurt this great nation than has already been done by moral decay, corrupt ministers and association with foreign devils. HAIL BRITANNIA! YES, MYA LORDU!!

....I mean, no, of course not.

Didn't Destiny have a one hour airing when an early ep was disrupted by an earthquake and so the next week they aired that and the new ep back to back?

What I think would be ackward and funny, is for Lelouch to hug Marianna/Anya and call her mother. Imagine people on the streets seeing this young man hugging a girl younger him and calling her mother. That is funny, like the episode of Bewitched when Daren was turned into a kid. Even more ackward is when Lelouch is hugging her, that is when Anya becomes Anya.

Code Geass stays original to the end. After one episode of totally not ripping off Evangelion by having our mecha anime protagonist reject his father's plan to bring all people together as one, it goes back to totally not ripping off Death Note by having our protagonist die. Other than that, great anime.

Uh... doesn't that describe the anime medium pretty well?

EDIT: I can't wait for the scene when Nunally shoots Lelouch, then gets up from her wheelchair and walks over to gloat as he dies.

And you wouldn't like him when hes angry. For one he wear that ugly mask.

And theres nothing wrong with C.C. being the mystery character were we are shown a bit more about her though out the show. Keeps things intresting. And I wasn't bashing 00 anymore then say coming here saying Gundam did it better.

I'm glad I'm not the only on who can't always tell when Hellcat is serious or not.

Now, back to more pressing matters:

Orange-kun is like Patrick from gundam 00. You know, that loser everyone loves that keeps coming back even after your sure hes done for. Mark my worRAB, Orange-kun will return.

Isn't that a quote from the new batman movie? Lol. (@ Juu)

Oh and, I'm thinking C.C. is pretty freaking important, as V.V. said that if they captured her he and Charles would win. I am curious as to what that meant.

And Lelouch is a 'Cursed Prince'?

are you pulling my leg, theres no way i would not noticed a gunblade, wich is awesome.

about the ending, the fact that none of the unanswered/unaccomplished mysteries and questions and goals of the first season have been answered in this season and weve almost reached the halfway point, its safe to assume were gettin a horrible clifhanger at the end., again.

EDIT:, man, how could i have missed that gunblade

I'm just gonna predict that in the final episode Lelouch and Suzaku storm the throne room after an amazing battle. There they find the Emperor dead, Rivalz having killed him after establishing global democracy and gaining a willing harem.

Lelouch: "How dare you steal my destiny, you little weasel! How do you sleep at night?!"
Rivalz: "In a big comfy bed, next to a naked Milly"

There is that, though I think it also makes sense. So often a given character thinks he knows what's coming and makes a terrible decision based on that, and then it is revealed that things turned out differently from what he had forseen. Star Wars has beaten the concept to death. My favored example is Denethor in The Lord of the Rings. There is both danger and hubris in putting too much faith in your own clairvoyance.

"Even the very wise cannot see all enRAB."
