Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Zero's my hero because he kicks puppies.

I don't think the staff actually thought anyone would find this such a big deal. Lighten up, man.

Whats wrong with expecting the viewer to think for themselves. I hate stories that feel it necessary to walk your hand through everything and spend time explaining every move like in naruto.

It wouldn't make sense if it wasn't an illegeal move.

The chess move was illegal but Lelouch kept the game going because he didn't want to win in such a pathetic way. The emperor would have take a victory anyway he could. The scene wouldn't make sense if the move wasn't illegal. The whole point was that the prince forfeited the match but Lelouch refused to accept winning in such a way when it was clear that the outcome should be a draw, not a victory.

In other worRAB, Its prove lelouch doesn't like his opponents to give up and hand him an easy victory while the emperor would stump on anyone that showed any weakness.

If I hadn't read the spoilers I never would have known something like this was about to happen. I don't think a lot of people would, and if the story was so obvious, then I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be as many fake spoilers as there are. I think it is rather safe to say, unless there are real spoilers to confirm, each episode is rather surprising in a way, not predictable.

Considering what a mess Lelouch is in, why did he leave Rollo in Japan, who's powers could have easily taken the princess withought anyone noticing?

I still dont see the point in kidnaping the empress of the nation that just took you in, especialy when your mortal enemies are right there wanting to be that nations friend. Its like he was asking for both China and Britannia to attack him.

Well, if you're there to do diplomacy, it isn't the best image to be hanging out at the Days Inn. I agree, it seems a subtle hint at Todoh x Nagisa.

I believe C.C. said as much this past episode when LeLouch was giving orders, and it might've been commented on before in 12 also.

They could always make the story focused on the soldiers like you know, 08 ms team...

GWOtaku: I wish I could provide you a link but said link is now buryed under 100+ posts in code geass forums

Info is from pre-season 1 code geass press conferences where people compared the mecha models they had with them to gundam's mechs which they responded to by saying that they based their designs on gundam units like the zaku. Both shows are made by sunrise so a lot could be possible.

Think of the similarities in some designs as a homage that pays respect to another popular sunrise franchise.

Literally, they've said they gave zero a mask because its a sunrise tradition to have a masked character. Hence why I knew gundam 00 would eventually get a masked character, its tradition.

It's not really uncharacteristic of CG to have this kind of plot twist. I mean, jumping the shark is a term used when a show has run itself into the mud and tries to bring in viewers by some means that are uncharacteristic of the show. Like having Fonzy jump a shark as if he was evil knievel.

I started out being sarcastic. I was poking fun at how my recent comments on Geass had annoyed some. Then the conversation turned to ridiculous Geass love/00 bashing, so I got serious.

We don't know if it was Charles who issued that order, or V.V. Since Rolo was sent from the cult by V.V. I shall go with him, and as Charles said, he lies.

And there was obviously a frienRABhip at some point, we just don't know what happened to it, or if it is still around. That was the purpose of the flasrabroadack.

Sunrise at least did something right with the emotional impacts over the 4 important deaths in the series: Euphy, Shirley, Rolo, and "Lelouch".

Liike I told you in chatts before, this makes no sense.

I mean, if the Burger King was after Pizza hut, why is PH the national restaurant of the 11's? I mean, I haven't seen a BK ANYWHERE. Pizza Hut seems to have taken over every friggin restaurant, similarly to there being only Taco Bell in "Demolition Man". Obviously, PH is the official restaurant of Britania

In fact if PH were the enemy of the empire, we wouldn't see any of them in public. There would be secret pizza hut staging grounRAB, where pizza ninjas would sneak in the night, making stealth deliveries for Eleven's who crave the old food of Japan.

I've been mulling over that for awhile- even before I watched the episode it had crossed my mind. I wouldn't doubt that it could be what Lelouch trying to accomplish, but bringing CC, Suzaku, and even Lloyd down with him isn't exactly honorable. Plus it makes him look like a tyrant which causes even more misunderstandings and dramatic irony situations [which I hate even more than pointless fanservice]. I think the worst that could happen in my eyes is Lelouch dieing for the sake of everybody else, thus creating peace through his death as the 'common enemy' now being vanquished. Low and behold he actually sacrificed himself for the world's happiness.

if that happens somebody please hit me over the head with a bat.
I think you're talking about Tamaki XD
