But see, is it really their best interest? I'm not so sure. He'd attempt to do so, but if they aren't happy with the leadership, naturally they'd probably be against his policies, etc, if only because he made them, if you get what I mean.

And I go to you because I like seeing both sides of the argument.

Nunally has her right now. Meaning that she is currently located in Japan. Not like she can do much, considering her position...

But since we are posting pictures...

Put into spoiler box due to size, and just...slightly spoilerish.

Everyone likes Kallen. Otherwise, you just like Shirley. And really, whats to like in a second rate Orihime? (though that begs the question what's to like in Orihime...)

I'm worn out on philosophy, I've managed to stray pretty far from my original point...maybe we can continue this in a spin-off cafe thread in July.

If I had to put it in simple terms, I'm looking for LeLouch to basically become Zero all over again. He had to earn the trust of the Japanese through deeRAB, by showing them that working for him was the best way for them to serve their own enlightened self-interest. He did this with a mix of leadership, honesty, and deception.

Now that the rebellion is rebuilt and part one of season 2 is over, all that should be in play again. If done right, we'll naturally learn more about these other Geass countries while the story is kept focused on LeLouch. I don't expect Gundamesque depth, just some context and equal time that will dispel this "foreigners = BAD!" issue once and for all.

If LeLouch can do it, it will be a spectacular feat several orders above what he's done with Japan. The Chinese Federation is obviously in the position of strength in any bargain, so it'll be interesting to see how LeLouch inevitably manipulates things to his favor. Europe is probably a blank slate he'll have to prove himself to, I wonder if they've even heard of Zero before. We'll see what happens...I expect the second OP after episode 13 to introduce some EU characters into the mix.

A bit rough, but I liked it, overall. At least with Geass, the parts that made me facepalm were relatively minor elements of the story, which is more than I can say for a few other shows.

I just wish I didn't have to watch the middle to get to the end.

Rolo's Geass is the moral one to choose. Stopping time can potentially save lives or avert disaster, whereas the other Geass powers except Bismarck's are messing around with people's minRAB one way or another. Bismarck's Geass has problematic implications. If you see a future event that you don't like, do you try to avoid it? Or do you make yourself a slave to what you're seeing? In fiction, the ability of foresight generally seems to be far more limited than one would think.

Oh that's what that's supposed to be in the background of the scene. Well that's another Geass OP mystery solved.

Now we just have to figure out what that mobile-armor looking thing was.

He had 3 lines, how is that enough to make a judgment? o.O
Wait, what? If he were to achieve that goal, it would be a good thing for Japan. He would be able to change the system for the better just like he has wanted for so long. Why is that bad and deserving of hate?
