Which to my mind only furthers the notion that this isn't Lelouch's web of lies falling apart. It's anythiing bad that could happen to him becoming the case purely to get him to the worst situation he's ever been in. The only things that are a result of his lies are Suzaku and the Black Knights turning against him. CC was beyond his control and is just the writers kicking him in the groin because they can.

these new rounRAB people dont need to have their characters explored deeply so theres no need for a season 3, they could all be killed off by Todoh or Kellen or something for all i care (though the Orabge haired guy looks kind of cool).
Well, I saw the episode. It was good. I can't have love for Rolo, but I'll concede that he's not so much an "evil" character as he is a tragic figure. I can feel sorry for him without forgiving him for anything. I guess deception saved Lelouch's life one last time.
Nina is a joke. Oh no, my borab kills people! Really, YOU THINK? You never stopped to consider the destructive potential of what you were making? What in her mind would have been an acceptable nuraber of casualties? Honestly. I have maybe one idea about how she could "redeem" herself, or at least as close as it can get, but I'm going to hold off on that for later.
The Black Knights really did find out everything...the Euphemia massacre, the sacrifice of the JLF for Lelouch's purposes, everything. Add on top of that the paranoia about Geass being used on anyone, and it's just too much. To find out that your savior is responsible for the deaths of legions of your own people...
Fortunately, in my view, it's not clear that this is a peace settlement at all. All that was at stake was a simple trade, Zero in return for Britannia leaving Japan to the Japanese. There's also the very important fact that there was another Freija borab ready to be used. Cornelia was right, they didn't have much room to bargain. Schneizel approached them with the bigger gun, and then gave them all of the incentive in the world to not risk it being fired for Lelouch's sake. All in all, a brilliant move.
The moment with Kallen was a nice touch. She's probably the only one with any faith left in Lelouch at this point, but she can't act on it.
Another large sign the alliance isn't broken: in the extended preview, you have Kaguya with Tianzi and Xing-Ke. This wouldn't be the case if Japan were cutting off ties with China and basically leaving them hung out to dry.

This is probably the Ragnarok system being used, focusing on a single point...Kamejima Island. OdRAB are good that Charles' power play will be hitting Japan close to home. This is far from over.
I really wonder what's next for Lelouch and Suzaku. Suzaku's in full depression mode. Lelouch has no resources and one mech against Britannian and Japanese forces that want to find him. I have a general idea about how things could work out, but no clue at all about the details. Through all the ups and downs, Geass at least manages to keep me guessing.

On a side note, looks like Luciano is going to get some time with Kallen next episode. Weird. Out of all the KoR's I would have expected Gino, as he respects her quite a bit.
Episode has aired in Japan.
We learned what happened in the cave on Kaminejima. Suzaku pinned down Lelouch and took him back to the Emperor. The Emperor used his geass to rewrite Lelouch's mind.
Kallen also confronted Lelouch about what he said back then, and he reassured her of the actual truth. Lelouch also gave her his jacket. Kallen was kind of tsundere-ish in this scene.
Rollo has geass and piloted the gold knightmare ("Vincent") they fought this episode.

That's some good insight...I find it hard to disagree.
Interesting, that. This seemingly breaks the Geass rules, but perhaps V.V. was able to explain. It's also possible that he simply deduced the Geass command on him all by himself. After all in season 1 it was proved to Suzaku that he disobeyed orders in order to live, even though he had no memory of it. Between that and learning the truth about Geass and LeLouch's identity, Suzaku's probably smart enough to put two and two together.

I think that is wrong.
Bartley doesn't quite know about all of the plans. He assumes it is bad, but I don't think anybody but V.V. and Charles know the extent of their plans. Bartley himself even said that he didn't know what "God's" they were talking about. So, while Bartley may think it is a huge crime, he doesn't entirely know.
And while I certainly don't think he is good, I just don't see Charles as the final villain. Schneizel just gives off that cold vibe to me, but who knows, maybe they will both be the final villains, and it is a 3-way battle?

And, this whole episode was just plain chaotic. My eyes almost shot out of their sockets as I was watching an episode that would make pre-Turn A Gundam Tomino proud. Guilford's supposedly out of commission, and the "loss" of Nunnally (still up in the air if she's alive or not) will definitely leave a scar on Lelouch. The future ain't looking bright for him or Suzaku.

Every single gundam. My favorite gundam happens to be ones like 08 ms team that don't have "aces that own all!"

I'm not making assumptions, I'm making an effort to flesh out our opinions about the episode. Never said you hated the episode. It's entirely possible to enjoy it and feel upset about Lelouch, as Samantha could attest. I'm simply trying to make the case that there are reasons to not mourn his fate. I'm happy to engage any opinion that gets put on the table.

And then there's the inherent concept of the FMP comedy episodes in that they're essentially 'fish out of water' tales. They are based greatly on absurdity taking place in mundane ordinary life, with the purveyors of madness COMPLETELY oblivious and/or apathetic to what they're doing. Lelouch getting into trouble is lightly funny, but it seems superfluous and unworkable at times because he is AWARE. Sousuke is NOT aware, he brings the absurd into ordinary life, affecting everyone around him until Kaname beats him down with reality.
In Geass it's the other way around when it comes to 'normal everyday life', but they are aware of absurdity. That doesn't work, the crux of FMP's humour comes from Sousuke's unaware nature of how a stable society functions. And humour works extensively when people do NOT know they are being absurd and/or funny, like what Geass thinks it is when it does its episodes.

That doesn't work, the crux of FMP's humour comes from Sousuke's unaware nature of how a stable society functions. And humour works extensively when people do NOT know they are being absurd and/or funny, like what Geass thinks it is when it does its episodes.

I'd say Zeta Gundam had some good Battle choreography.
And some of the OVA's didn't focus on Newtypes so the main pilots weren't too powerfull in those.
To each their own I guess. Gundam Wing was actually my least favourite favourite Gundam, and when I gave up on the franchise...

No, I'm sorry. When you make everyone of a certain race nasty and vile that's racism. Just like stupid movies like Mel Gibson's The Patriot. Having more noble characters amongst different races is only poor political correctness if it's handled poorly. Geass is making general blanket statments on the greater issue. Once the show stops showing little Japanese old ladies crying out for a hero and Britannians cursing "Stinking, dirty Elevens!" I'll withdraw my claims. There is incredible potential in Geass, most of it tapped. But it neeRAB to stop being so defensive of Japan. Many other shows can avoid this pitfall.
