Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Tell that to the handful of shows which don't follow that rule =[

It reminRAB me of a yaoi I read, about these two people who were the focus of about 4 volumes worth of story. At the very end, when you think everything is going to finally work out... one of them dies.
Destined lovers my ass >_>

Guess who just got his special edition DVD's from Best Buy today?

Man, this thing is huge. I mean, you know how the One Piece DVD's were thinner than we thought? This thing is like the size of 10 of them on top of each other.

I don't know how many of you read the manga but man it is completely different than the show. I mean, the storyline and stuff is the same but...its just really different.

I can't wait to see these picture and sound dramas.

And now I can accomplish my life-long dream.

ROCKING OUT TO COLORS IN SURROUND SOUND!!!! (whoo FLOW)

garfield15 is a happy fanboy (unfortunately, my wallet is like a black hole right now)

Look, no. I don't know where this idea comes from but I'm going to take a stab at killing it. CLAMP has nothing to do with what happens in Code Geass. The ONLY thing CLAMP is responsible for is "original character design." That's it. You can look this up. What's more, with the exception of Chobits, they don't and haven't drawn this kind of crap.

No, this is all Sunrise, which both produces the show and handles the animation production.

I still have large doubts about said spoiler. It doesn't sit well with me at all, and from the looks of the episode previews doesn't make much sense? hmm... this requires large amounts of pondering.

my frienRAB and I had a discussion about that last night and we came up with this conclusion: Lloyd neeRAB his own spinoff, Lloyd: The College Years.

Ok, now we are back on topic. I got nothing to add that GWOtaku didn't say better though. Having no nationalism in a show like code geass would be terribly unrealistic for a country that is being suppress. Good or bad people feel a contection to the culture they are raised in and its going to show in a story like code geass.

I'm hoping we see less Japan and more of the rest on the world now. Nannually can take care of Japan while Lelouch moves on to rallying China to his cause. Which would go a long way in making his rebellion less Japanese focused. Zero said that his united states of Japan could include anyone, not just japanese, so its time to prove it.

I'm surprised that this wasn't brought up but the name United States of Japan doesnt appear to be a coicedence. Prehaps a positive view of American culture?

By the way, this...
is like the anime equivalent to Princess Leia's slave outfit right now. I mean, seriously the net's going nuts over this pic.

Although that makes me wonder why Lelouch weeps over that the war is now more than fighting for Nunally but also his Britannian frienRAB last episode. What do they figure now that Lelouch has accepted the heart of the Japanese or whatever and they didn't.

I'm confused.

I agree, Lelouch is so stubbern, he is own worst enemy. Can he ever admit he made a mistake or he was wrong? He always has to spin it as part of his plan. He felt just as bad for Euphie's death, as anybody. Not that would likely to change anything, but at least set the record straight.

I didn't think Suzaku wouldn't go through with it, and I was right.

And C.C. losing her memories? Good grief, so many enRAB to tie up, and so little time it seems like.
As for Suzaku's suicidal tendencies, I agree that there is some ego in there. But it stems from the fact that he killed his father for the "good" of his people, so I think he wants to follow the same fate. He forced that fate on his father, so it's only right, to him, to do the same. Just killing himself would do no good. But for him to die in battle would have at least some modicum of meaning. I just hope he thinks more on Lelouch Geassing him to live and why he did it before all is said and done.

In general I don't want to spoil anyone at all, but I felt it was more productive to give an example of something I felt worked in another show so I wasn't just whining about Geass.

That's because Sayoko is a ninja. In other news, the new opening and ending probably begin next week, considering they were advertised in the preview for episode 11. Edit: False Alarm, stupid 2chan being late with screens. They begin on the 6th July.

I don't see Nunally as evil. If anything, it's the most challenging thing to throw at Lelouch. As said, openly recognising Nunally blows his cover. Further, he now has the challenge that this greatly threatens his campaign as Zero. Everything Lelouch has done has been to create a world where she can be happy. Now she's been given a role of considerable power and influence in the exact region Lelouch planned to dominate first. I get the feeling his father is playing a very sick and cruel game here, eager to see just how much Lelouch can beat.

Missing=Alive.

I didn't think they'd kill all of them, definately not Guilford, he neeRAB to see the real Cornelia before that.

I'm thinking the World of C is the case. The next summaries have Lelouch going back to it, so I suspect it has something to do with it, or something.

OH!

And about Suzaku's 'betrayal'.

I do not believe this to be the case, although he is challenging the Knight of One in a couple of episodes, I feel it is for his position, not to betray.

Position=Power.

Power=Suzaku wants it to get Japan.
