Rebirth of the Rebellion - Code Geass R2 Talkback (SPOILERS)

Apparently you can't really be an important character without studying at Ashford. Seriously, I'm waiting for the episode where the Emperor becomes a student.

Thats a huge nitpick. Who cares if we get a proper chess game or not, its not important. Chess is only used syrabolically in the anime and the point of the scene is quite clear.

The prince cheats to confuse his oppenents while Lelouch perfers to beat his oppenent without them handing the victory to him.

Cornelia: Haha! My bosom blocked the bullets from killing me!
Schneizel: ...But didn't the bullets go through your spine and back?
Cornelia: ...Is that a more important body part than the bosom and if hit first my chances of living would be diminished greatly?
Schneizel: ...Yes... Yes it is.
Cornelia: oh... bugge *collapses*

That doesn't change the fact that the previous episodes existed and that it could have been left out or done even better.

Yes development has come at an exponential rate for Geass, but now that C.C. has lost her memory now we're at an awkward position again trying ot figure out what to pay attention to for a filling view, the porterhouse steak of a plot or the sponge cake of fanservice. We don't need that cake to be shoved down our mouths needlessly, especially when one of the characters is now the waifish dream fantasy that harkens back to the days of Belldandy, only with less modesty and more shamelessness when she doesn't need to be. She could be waifish and innocent, but that doesn't mean she should take her clothes off.

Actually, the viewers aren't quite sure if she is devoted to him, or if she is devoted to the contract she has with him. I'd like to assume the former, but you never know, especially with the speculation on her chatting with Charles, which is seeming more and more likely. Then again, "Charles" was teasing her about being jealous, so maybe.

I think that was just the focal point of his hatred. He made it pretty obvious he hated all of the lying and deception going around in the Royal family. His mother being a victim probably just propelled him to take action.

Perhaps it's more a trigger thing at appears more around split seconRAB before something hits or impacts him in a way, depending on the threat at hand. And also this technically is the first time it's been triggered in R2 I believe, so maybe this serves as an indicator for maybe future events where he tries to fight it like Euphie did before succurabing to it.

I'm left to wonder now with the Guren Nishiki's power, we'll see Suzaku... 'live' so to speak when they truly fight in a more brutal style, and hopefully Suzaku wins.

******bag McTraitorpants he may be, but Suzaku > Kallen.

That's not the reason why I am upset. I realized that was what happened, and when I found out about those spoilers I thought that's what would happen.

I am mad because he clung to Euphie, yet again, and his freaking morals that never get dirty.

Oh and the fact that he is considering using the Freya, that thing is a monster, how can you claim to be for the people, and then consider using that?

Well, we'll see what happens...I'm hoping that 16 is mostly an arc episode that will build up to the confrontation between Lelouch and Suzaku.

Ugh. Been seeing a bunch of people ask about the "purple haired girl next to Rivalz." If you guys think back to when Lelouch was doing the switch thing with Sayoko while he was away from Ashford, you guys remeraber the purple haired girl that almost got the heart off of Lelouch's head and he geassed? It was her. Yeah, she's just a minor character, lol. I don't even remeraber her name, but that's where she's from.

As far as "everyone is a couple"... not everyone is a couple you know. It's a wedding. Just because you go to a wedding with someone, it doesn't mean you're dating. Some of these people (Gino and Kallen for instance) could just be going as frienRAB. Cornelia/Guilford though have history, as do Nagisa and Toudoh. I wouldn't worry about it really. With the way the series ended, and all the wonky "WHAT A TWIST" moments, I guess they did have to fit in the happy moments somehow and prove the world can go on without Lelouch's presence.

I do have to say in a totally random statement; Xianglin looks REALLY good. >.>; That dress is win.

Well, in Geass' defense, they had to focus on LeLouch at Ashford because that's how Britannia is keeping such a close eye on him. I would hope that the series will soon be taking a more serious turn, considering that Rollo and Villetta are dealt with and Suzaku is now the only thing standing between LeLouch and complete freedom at home.

Now, I'll be singing a different tune if we're halfway through and the rebellion isn't underway in earnest. Japan has to be liberated and the Emperor himself has to be defeated, and they can't cover all of that while having season 1's level of humor and fanservice. They need at least half the season for the post-Japan campaign, in my opinion. If they screw up their priorities and don't give us our due, I'll be as critical as anyone.

Wow. Intense...

Huge developments here. And luckily with this, we can end the saga known as the Korean Spoilers, and they were pretty true. I am sad that C.C. is left alone, and I am hoping Kallen protects her, because I can see the Order disliking her also. Kaguya looks sad in the preview, I think moreso because Zero left, she already knew Lelouch, so I dont think she would have had a problem with him being Zero. And the Order is going to make a deal with a country who isn't exactly honest? SMART! And Gino having spears pointed at him in the preview? Maybe he doesn't want to go in and fight again when they promised the Order Japan? Who knows.

Oh and Sam...

Lelouch definately had a "This isn't over yet," face at the end. He isn't going to just give up.
